Do bonus feats granted by class count for prerequisites?

Adaptive Fighting has a prerequisite of three combat feats.

Every class gets Weapon Expertise at 3rd level.

Hit & Run Soldier gets Opening Volley at first level, plus a bonus feat at 2nd level.

Do these count towards the three combat feats a character needs for Adaptive Fighting?

Opening Volley from the Hit & Run fighting style is a bonus feat so that would definitely count.

As for Weapon Expertise, I'm not sure how that one counts yet. I'm going to try and figure it out and will (try to) edit this post if I think of something.

Edit: The wording is: You gain Weapon Specialization as a bonus feat for each weapontype this class grants you proficiency with.

Sounds like you're getting 6 feats in one go there as a soldier.
Weapon Specialization Basic Melee weapons
Weapon Specialization Advanced Melee weapons
Weapon Specialization Small Arms
Weapon Specialization Longarms
Weapon Specialization Heavy Weapons
Weapon Specialization Sniper Weapons

My personal ruling would be: yes those feats would count for the 3 combat feat prerequisite of Adaptive Fighting.

Edit 2: The 3d level classs ability is called Weapon Specialization, not Weapon Expertise. Not that it matters much, but figured I'd add it as an addendum.

The Soldier bonus feats definitely do count, as you are gaining specific feats.

I am far less sure about the Weapon Specialization that every class gains at 3rd level, but I would be inclined to say no on the basis that class weapon proficiencies have not historically counted for such purposes and this specialization is basically an extension of the class weapon proficiencies.

Hm, that's an interesting question about Weapon Specialization. At most, it's two feats: Versatile Specialization and Weapon Specialization. However, the version of Versatile Specialization granted is less good than the actual feat (only working on class based proficiencies, not feat based ones), so it's more like 1 and half feats. I think I'd rule it as 1 combat feat, but it's really up to you as a GM.
