I am tentatively interested. Would you allow me to play a deep one hybrid? I know wanted to put restrictions on the available races, but deep one hybrids don't seem to have that much of an advantage over many of the cleared races, and they have a nice aquatic theme that fits well with the AP.
For some reason the camp internet is blocking this page -.-; so it may take me a bit to do a work around. But its not surprising as work internet is heavily controlled. I mean, YouTube is even blocked. XD
Will get back with you!

My idea was a kami medium that was on a pilgrimage.
How dificult would it be to find the spirits in the wild (beside the suijin)?
Spirits roam, so I wouldn't think it would be too hard. Especially in the ruins of Azlant, their would be loads of untamed, flighty or angry spirits... ;)

DM Corerue |

Would a slimehunter gillman be ok?
I'd like to make a gillman kineticist intrigued by the folktales of his family and eager to explore the ruins of his ancestors.
Can you provide a link? my search-fu an tiredness is making me rather impossible to find anything. It may be the camp internet again.
Sigh.

DM Corerue |

Are we allowed to take race options from Blood of the sea and Aquatic adventures?
Since its a paizo book, then its allowed. 3pp is a case by case of course. :)
^^ Hope that clarifies. I will have to wait until I get up in a few hours to do more digging on the Gillmen and such. Please bear with me!

Just being helpful to someone else.
Here is the link to the Slimehunter Gillman. Slimehunter is an Alternate Racial Trait.
Here is the link to the Kineticist if needed.

PFSRD is being DDOS'd so it is likely that, not your camp internet.

You missed the best most handsomest, dashingly knowledgeably skill-monkey, tough as iron burly warrior, strong as a giant... it's getting too long, actually, just call me Mal.
I'll add Backstory and Appearance from the profile to this post just for ease of reference
Born to the Hawke Family, an ancient Taldan line of archmages and sorceresses, Malcolm was cursed with great arcane potential yet no true skill to use it.
The youngest Hawke was to become another wizard or magi like his older siblings, but no matter the amount of teachers, trainers and mentors his family brought... He simply wasn't capable of anything beyond gathering the arcane current that surged through his body. This fact brought him great shame and a good deal of mockery from his decadent and snobby siblings, but Malcolm wasn't a kid that could simply give up.
That's not to say he managed to invoke the eldritch spells even the lesser of his cousins could, but with practice and force of will he developped his own style. Truth be told, his style was simple but nonetheless effective: gathering the arcane energy in his blood he could charge his body with crackling magical energy, becoming faster and tougher than he usually was, and the overflow of energy surrounding him partially disrupted other people's ability to use their spells. The first time his siblings failed to shame him with their powers, only to be punched to the floor like a ragdoll... That time Malcolm stopped being ashamed and felt proud of himself. That day he decided he would always smile, no matter how shameful or dire was the situation.
But he still wasn't no magic user, and in his family's eyes he still was a failure. And that's why Malcolm gathered his belongings and left, to make a future for himself.
Appearance:
Standing a bit above seven feet tall, Malcolm has been mistaken for a half-giant before, and found too big and intimidating. Only from afar, though, as his permanent kind smile and burly beauty quickly convinces others that he is a human, only a bigger one.
Mal keeps his hair short and his beard trimmed, but perhaps his most distintive feature -other than his size- are his eyes: with a spark of intelligence and inquisitive, they seem to drink from the world with an unquenchable thirst.
Malcolm tries to keep his clothes and armor clean of dirt and shiny as if they were brand-new, a quirk from his nobleborn origin. More than disgust for the unclean it comes from the first leason his father taught him: appearance makes you or breaks you.
Personality:
After growing into a family that all but publicly rejected him, Malcolm had become a man eager to meet supportive people.
Usually cold-headed and quick to trust others, he takes things at face value, but woe betide he who betrays said trust for Malcolm's anger could instill fear into a paladin's heart. Despite that few things could force that reaction, Malcolm usually forgives anything but the most severe treasons.
Mal enjoys homemade meals and drinks and the simple pleasures of life, even when he almost always wears rich clothing he values anything made by expert hands or enthusiastic ones at least, he understands what hard work means.

I'm not having any trouble with d20pfsrd.com. So there could be a bad script that my browser is stopping since I have a few layers of script blocking in place, or there is a bad system between you and d20pfsrd.

Does this include the races themselves? Mostly asking because they range in power quite a bit and it also has things like Sahuagin.
I myself would love to play a Locathah, also from Blood of the Sea. They are also found here on Archives of Nethys.
I'd be taking the Strong Limbs alternate racial trait to up land speed to 20 ft.
EDIT: Even better, Locathahs are among the odd races that get their own cool stuff, according to the author of part 2.

Noob alert
Missed me and a question I had. Still working on my druid and was wondering if you would allow the Changeling race. After doing some research on Andoran I think I have a cool background idea that I want to play around with. Also, my druid is may become a shaman or hex magus (Don't recall what it is called)
Also, thanks the extra time is going to help.

I don't see a reason not to allow changeling. :) paizo race and I have played with them before. They weren't overwhelming and add a fun flair.
Will get you added to the list. Working 16 hours a day atm. Lol

Gonna go with Undine Barbarian(Sea Reaver). But will switch to Ranger(Warden) after that.
Here he is: Sh'torek
Ignore the mechanics... they're all wrong. Built him for a different game a time ago. Seeing how you said don't bother with the mechanics part of it, I am going to heed that request because it does keep me from having to do more work. And I'm all about doing less work. :)

The Pale King |

Are Super Genius and Rogue Genius the same company? I like some of their classes but have found them oddly balanced.
Well, whatever the case, I am going to roll some stats and consider my options.
1d3 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
1d3 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17
1d3 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
4d6 - 2 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 6) - 2 = 13
That leaves me with 17, 17, 16, 15, 13, 13
Nothing wrong with a 49 point buy I suppose.

I'll be submitting Mahrag Serranir, a Locathah Gunslinger. I'll need to figure out a surfacer name he assigned for himself as well. I'm not sure on archetypes yet. Either I'll go classic Musket Master, possibly together with Thronewarden, or I'll go full fire crazy with Firebrand from Elemental Master's Handbook. Trait-wise I'll be going with Employee.
As for concept, think of Ariel's surfacer obsession from Disney's Little Mermaid, but with guns, fireworks and root vegetables.
Money roll: 5d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 6, 3) = 15x10=150 so I'll get the base 175 instead
Mahrag's youth among his clan was rather ordinary as far as Locathah are concerned. Their village was located in the Inner Sea several dozen nautical miles south of the city of Almas and only a little out of the way from the normal trade routes of the Andoran vessels. As a result the clan's younglings were taught how to negotiate and trade with friendly surfacers, how to avoid unfriendly surfacers and to defend their own lands from fiends like the sahuagin who came to prey on the ships and their crews.
He had barely passed into adulthood when Mahrag was assigned to surfacer detail. Together with his fellows he was to spot incoming vessels, determine whether they were friendly or hostile and either approach or hide based on that determination. Things went sideways immediately on his first day as they hailed a Chelish slaver sailing under a false flag. The only thing that kept Mahrag and his kin out of slavery that day was the intervention of a group of Gray Corsairs that had infiltrated the slaver's crew. It was in their hands that Mahrag first saw what he later learned was called a "pistol" and it was wonderful. Nothing below the waves could do anything like it did, spewing forth flame and iron. He simply had to have one.
For months he tried to barter with sailors in order to get his hands on one of those near magical things. Yet many hadn't even heard of the things or didn't have one. Those that did have a firearm wanted enormous sums of money for them, so Mahrag started to hire himself out as a guide to ships. For several years he saved up as much money as he could so he could buy his very own gun. It was only after seeing several guns refuse to work during heavy storms that he started getting second thoughts. If these things couldn't handle the rain, how were they ever supposed to handle the sea?
The conclusion quickly became that they weren't supposed to handle going under water so instead Muhrag decided he'd stay above water. There was plenty of money to be made guiding surfacers or brokering deals between surfacers and other denizens of the deep and that way he got to use his gun and experience the other great treats the surface world held, like tubers.

Hey, GM. I've thought it over a bit, and I have decided that I won't be going with a deep one hybrid, after all. Sorry about the time I made you spend on the topic.
I'm currently planning to roll up a gillman summoner. I'll be using the chained version; if this is a problem, let me know and I'll switch to the unchained summoner.
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 4, 6) = 17 - 3 = 14
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 2) = 9 - 1 = 8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 1, 6) = 17 - 1 = 16
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 1, 1) = 14 - 1 = 13
1d3 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
Starting Wealth: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11 x 10 = 110
I should be able to have a build and a backstory up within a day or two, possibly quicker than that (but not likely).

Ancient Dragon Master |

Epic roll: 1d3 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
Epic roll: 1d3 + 15 ⇒ (2) + 15 = 17
Bad roll: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Epic roll: 1d3 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
Bad roll: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Bad roll: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Above a 10 by 2 or more: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 5) = 15
Final:18,17,16,18,12,15• these are some of the best stats I have ever rolled. And I probably won't get to use them because my backstory is always subpar. Thinking of a item crafter, considering that it will take weeks to sell&buy items. While this is still hard I can just make what we need, instead of having to scour the whole land for some obscure magic item.
@Chobo: This could help with the functions. Have you read the two guides to PBP?

Hey, GM, I have a question (albeit one with an answer that is likely obvious): would you consider the aquatic base form (and, by extension, the gills and swim evolutions) to be prohibited for an eidolon whose summoner possesses the Spirit Summoner archetype keyed to the flame spirit? I guess that it would be easy to say yes, but I would think that such eidolons could be connected to natural phenomena such as submarine volcanoes or hydrothermal vents; or to one of Pathfinder's aquatic, fire-using monsters such as the gold and sea dragons, the vouivre, or the gare linnorm. As a result, I would like to get your opinion on this matter.

![]() |

I completed my character sheet for Galyth Kallios. I rolled poorly for gold and so used the average result. I'm leaning more toward Bard than Slayer at the moment and so the writeup assumes that, but I could still see myself playing either.

Again I extended the recruiting until the 1st of September. Due to work being annoying. Thanks!

Darion Holdfast |

I would love to join this game, I've never played a PbP game, but some friends and I played something similar on an app.
The character that I would like to play is a Human, Wizard (specialized: Diviner). He comes from a family of warriors but has never been very good at hand to hand combat. He still wants to impress his father with what he can do. So he will focus on battlefield control with a splash of abjuration and transmutation that can enhance his physical abilities in combat or that can give him melee advantages to make up for his poor combat skills.
I'm not sure how to roll stats within the blog post though
