To reiterate, there is still a bug that displays "convention pick up" as an option in subscription shipping options. This will NOT work. You must have selected the little circle with the text explanation for "Yes, I'll pick up my subscription products at Gen Con Indy 2017". Call customer service immediately if you tried to select "convention pick up" from the drop down menu and did not opt in.
My subscription items that I had opted in to pick up at Gen Con, now say to be shipped with a later shipment? Is this as intended or a bug or should I just hold tight. I did select the little circle next to yes I'll pick up my subscription products at Gen Con, earlier when I subscribed.

Mine is doing the same, I assume it's a glitch and that my Starfinder and AP subscriptions will all ship together at the same time. :-)
Just a quick question...If I have a pre-order(namely the Deluxe Starfinder CoreRulebook) that will delay my shipping? I am okay if so...just trying to determine when to expect it.
The data state pick up orders are in is a bit crazy at the moment since we are still running the regular order spewing. The pick up items get held in the sidecart unitl we pull the trigger on opt in orders which is why it looks that way. I apologize for the confusion.

We received our authorization email. However, in addition to my subscription (including Starfinder) we set up a separate order for the Starfinder Limited Edition and didn't add it to our subscription so that it would come off a different credit card, but the email lists it on this order and appears to have everything coming off our debit card.

The charge is a authorization charge to make sure your credit card is good. You wont actually be charged until the items shipped. Not sure how they figure what the authorization charge should be but looks like a percentage of the over all order maybe? Mine was the same two packages total and the charge didn't match either shipment.
I did a preorder and I might be getting double-charged for the Starfinder Core Rulebook with my subscription. Also, I ordered a GM screen, which I think should be coming with it. Can someone look into this to make sure I'm seeing it right? Thanks.
I had the wrong card listed when I got an authorization e-mail (my fault), but the amount was only something like 20% of what the total will be. I've now put in the correct card, but I hope I haven't messed up my order process. I'm sure the customer service folks are crazy busy this week, but if someone could check for me I'd really appreciate it!

So I received the payment authorization on Saturday and the full amount was charged. My order now shows as pending, so I guess everything is fine and I just need to wait for my order to ship.
This is my first time as a subscriber so I have to ask. The PDFs included in the subscription will be available when the items ship or on August 17th when they officially launch? Fingers crossed for a quick shipping, I'm super hyped for Starfinder!

Usually, it's when your individual order ships, so some people get them sooner than others. There has been no statement from Paizo, but when PfRPG launched, they embargoed the PDFs until street date. We are all really hoping they haven't decided to do that for Starfinder.

I'd be surprised if they didn't grant the PDFs when shipping notices go out, considering the order spawning email said:
Starfinder Core Rulebook Hardcover Paizo Inc. Will be in your downloads once shipped
Yeah, that's what got me thinking about getting the PDF to read while the books get to my country, but that may just be what the system shows by default and may not be true for a launch item like Starfinder just like Joana said.

We have no current plans to alter how PDFs will be made available for applicable subscriptions.
Currently the free PDF is triggered when your order is processed for shipping (which means it has had its payment method settled against and we are preparing it to leave our warehouse).
Currently the warehouse is beginning to ship August New Release orders, however we are trying to get the Pathfinder only orders/packages out the door first and start in with Starfinder possibly late this week, early next week.
I'd like to remind folks that as subscribers, you will have access to your PDFs prior to the street date. It is not okay to to copy large portions of text from the book. Doing so may result in the suspension or removal of posting privileges.
I have still not received an order authorization email. Should I be worried?

So, does this mean that shipped orders are getting filled first, and then GenCon pickup orders will be filled? Just trying to get a sense of when things will begin to make sense on my subscription page. (And hoping to make sure I get my copy of Dead Suns #1)

Start the sub and then immediately email customer service so one of us can review the item and ensure its going to be ready for you.

Will there be any copies of Starfinder AP #1 at the Paizo booth at GenCon for people who are not picking up a pre-order?
Yes, we have already dedicated our Gen Con inventory for the show. However, while we will be bringing inventory of PZO7201 SF AP #1, we cannot guarantee they won't sell out. If we do sell out I recommend, checking back in the mornings as each evening I review sub pick up orders for how many people pick up and put out the extras.

I would not spend the week hitting refresh. Shipping times are so varied; we have *a lot* of orders to get out in a 3 week window. Even if we do begin shipping Starfinder items at the end of this week, your particular order might be further down in the queue and be processed for shipping next week or even the week of the 14th.
My best advice would be to relax, have fun doing something else and wait for your email confirmation that it has been processed for shipping.

Not that I'll be sitting around hitting refresh one way or the other, but how does this 3 week shipping window interact with pending order emails. I got one for my subscription order (all the Starfinder stuff, plus a couple of maps) last Friday that said it was expected to ship in 1-7 business days. Does that mean I'm near the front of the queue, or is it just optimistic?

Amazing how many products are sold out even before release. I hope that's a sign of a huge interest in the game and a great starting point for Starfinder. Maybe Starfinder will be to Sci-Fi what D&D was to fantasy. Long life Starfinder!
On the product schedule page of my subscriptions, it says my order with the core book and everything first wave will ship in November with the alien archive pawns, but in the my orders page the same items show as a pending order. If you accidentally send me a second copy of everything in November, I won't be upset, but please don't make me wait until then to receive this fabulous product.
Sounds like you have the same glitch I have that I posted a thread about a few days ago. On my subscription page, I show all the first wave stuff with the Alien Archive Pawn Box in November, but on my orders page the first wave stuff is listed in a Pending order to ship out soon.
