Prisoners of the Blight - Map / Distances

Ironfang Invasion

Hi,

Am just reading through this book and noticed for the Darkblight there isn't a specfic map or a distance/time from section for each area. Given the darkblight as a whole is 50 miles across I'm thinking maybe 5-10 miles between areas with maybe a 1-2 hour travel time from one to the next.

Due to the nature of the area I'm assuming that there is no set pattern and where the PCs end up is largely random.

How have other DMs dealt with this issue and what is the official line?

Havent got round to such detail yet. Cant exactly tell where in the Fangwood its supposed to be!!!

That's one of the things that annoys me about the last couple of APs. Book five in both take place off map and don't have a map showing where it is in relation.

I get they have a lot of stuff to cram in there, but I mean c'mon, it's the penultimate adventure and no one knows where takes place.

*frustrated grunt*

Yeah its very frustrating and the map on the inside cover doesn't really help matters.

Daniel, it is great to see someone else had the same question mark I did. It would have been nice to have this along with a Pestilent Palace overall big map. I wonder if this was done to allow for the GMs to create there own, or for time/space/money.

I have wondered that too. Crystal and Amanda did an overall otherwise amazing job with this AP module. But, I wonder if it got cut due to page count.

I wouldn't mind so much if they had it as a download on the site!

From a good read through its location twists and warps so difficult to tie down its location on a map
