Similar to how a Succubus can grant a profane bonus to one ability score, a Nemesis Devil can grant a mortal follower a Devil Mark that gives the follower a once-per-day Spell-Like Ability. The SLA is based on what domain the Nemesis Devil has for its Divinity Ability. A Nemesis Devil can possess any domain except form Good and Chaos.
My questions are these:
- Can a Nemesis Devil pick subdomains for its False Divinity ability?
- Which spells would be particularly useful as an SLA? Remember,SLAs do not need costly spell materials.
- Which spells cannot be found on the spell lists of caster classes that are most likely to call outsiders, namely Clerics, Oracles, Sorcerers and Wizards?

I don't think it can do subdomains.
True Seeing (Knowledge), Breath of Life (Healing), Spell Resistance (Magic/Protection), Greater Command (Nobility), and Teleport (Travel) look like the most generally useful 5th level options. Only True Seeing has a material component.
Void allows Lesser Planar Binding.

Don't forget the ultimate game-breaking option from the artifice domain: fabricate! In theory, a fabricate spell-like ability wouldn't need the original material component, and could transmute permanent, nonmagical items out of thin air. In practice, GMs may not let this slide.
Remember that the lack of components doesn't just mean no material cost, it also means you can use your SLA while paralyzed or otherwise restrained. That's one of the things that makes teleport a nice choice, and it also means that the luck domain's break enchantment could be worth taking.
If versatility's your thing, you could also go with shadow conjuration from the darkness domain. And you can get lesser planar binding from the rune domain as well as from void.
Finally, nature-themed nemesis devils might have access to animal and terrain domains as well. If so, you could get a free legend lore from the crocodile domain or a free stoneskin from mountain.
