I recently joined a homegame and have a bunch of people from PFS who joined. Since I haven't done a mele-beasty type character in 8 years, I decided to do a bloodrager. The build doesn't so much matter (mostly since I have almost no build set in stone at this point) but I could use help with a background. The setting is around Belkzen, and my character is a Qlippoth Tiefling with Maw alternate racial trait and his first feat is Armor of the Pit. He is a Aberrant/Abyssal Xbloodrager who will be serving as the tank/mele DPS of the party.
I've looked through some books (Inner Sea World Guide, Blood of Fiends) and haven't found really what I'm looking for. The current idea is being an enslaved Qlippoth from the Abyss who killed his masters during a surface raid just outside the Worldwound. He has hated his demonic slavers since childhood and wants his Abyss (swamp hehe) back. He heard in the Abyss from his Qlippoth "family" that the mortals sin and sin feeds the demons who occupy their world. He also heard that there are different races of mortals who tend to sin more, and has heard a bit about Belkzen. After his escape, he plans to go to Belkzen and quench his thirst for sinful Orc blood.
Ideas?

If you are from Cheliax then you could be anything from popular to worshiped due to the "gifts" bestowed upon you by the great fiends. But then that would give you reason to appreciate your heritage rather than seek to destroy it. You could still play it off as liking Qlippoth-kin but hating Demon, Devils, etc. I guess. Either way it is probably a good idea to establish early in your character background that you have a reason to hunt the things crawling out of the Worldwound. Maybe even have a nickname granted by a small local community if you want to be known for it.

I recommend Aberrant over Abyssal or Crossblooded myself. Aberrant is one of the best survival Bloodlines in the game. It give access to Aberrant Familiar feat which increases your HP by 50% and if you go with a hedgehog you can get +2 to will saves as well. You take the Protector Archetype for the Familiar of Course. Basically the feat has the payoff of several feats combined and then some. I always favor a real weapon over natural attacks. A nice high critical weapon to inflict more pain with. But that is just a personal Preference as Natural attacks can work.
If Primalist Archetype is allowed ALWAYS go primalist. You can trade Bloodline Powers for 2 rage powers. Aberrant Bloodline you can trade off It's power for Infernal fortitude and get the same benefit and an extra rage power. I go for Immunities in my build. By level 20 I have accomplished 13 Immunities out of the build alone. More with a combo of some Items. Making you a near unstoppable machine that can reach across a room a smack the guy in the back lines upside his head from another room. (Some Serious Reach out of this build.)
Either way Bloodrager is one of my personal favorite classes and hands down my favorite Martial class. Have fun with the class and enjoy being a B.A.M.F.

I will note I thought of Primalist, mostly because it's just too good to pass up. However, it doesn't stack with Crossblooded. However,Lune wrote:The build doesn't so much matter (mostly since I have almost no build set in stone at this point) but I could use help with a background.
Crossblooded is honestly P00P compared to primalist. Not worth Crossblooded IMHO. Taking a hit to will saves hurts. Not to mention 2 Rage powers turn out to be greater than a single bloodline power.

I have a bloodrager that is both asura-spawn and dragon blooded, so the two bloodline keep fighting inside him, which was cool. So you can have two bloodline keep fighting each others for total control of your body. Then there is you. You can choose to accept one more than the other, you can choose to get on the journey to find a cure? Maybe find the origin of your bloodlines? Or you got very tough scales because you have been abused all the time because your bloodlines are such a mess even for a tiefling? And then you want to find good people to adventure with, to be hero, because screws bad people. Many things you can do!
