I'm having trouble accessing the site while connected to my home internet.
The error message just says: "The connection was reset."
Doesn't matter if I'm using Chrome or Firefox. I suspect it might be a problem with the ISP, but paizo is literally the only website this happens to.
I have no trouble when using mobile internet. My data cap is high but not unlimited and it's a pain that I can't download my PDFs and use the prd.
I'm in Australia if that helps (it rarely does).
Are you sure a Dingo didn't eat it. :-)
Or maybe a wallaby. No one ever suspects the wallaby...
Same thing for me. Home network can't reach the site. Mobile network can. USA (Verizon ISP).
I'm going to try a few things.

I tried using Google DNS but it didn't seem to do anything.
Check the kangaroo pouch. No one ever checks there.
Or maybe try wrastling a Crocodile for it.
Yeah, I tried Google DNS too. (And flushed the DNS cache along the way.) It actually resolves the DNS correctly I believe (70.35.123.53), but can't reach anything at that address. So I don't think it is a DNS issue.
Yesterday and the day before my firefox stopped me from posting on the boards because it claimed Paizo.com was making a cross script attempt. Since I needed those posts to be made I ignored the warnings and posted anyway. Could this be connected to the current problem?
Just chiming in that I too am having this problem.
I am posting from my Android phone on Verizon data using Chrome, no problem accessing from here.
But on two different Windows machines, w/ two different ISPs, get timeouts or "server not found" messages. Tried Firefox on one machine, and Firefox, Chrome, and Explorer on the other, same result.
I'll note on my phone I'm auto-logged in, but on PCs, am not logged in due to different cache clearing systems (cache clears whenever I shut off browser).

I can still access sites that are under the secure sub domain. Downloads, my account, etc.
Wow, so it's not just me getting that crap?
I'm NOT in Australia (more's the pity).

Everyone,
Just did some checking and may have found the problem. Please clear your cache and try again...
Thanks
Dean
Problem still persists for me. I can confirm that some https pages do load, such as:
https://secure.paizo.com/paizo/messageboards
Not sure if you guys disable incoming ICMP requests, but even from my router the ping to paizo.com fails completely.
Ok... Ill keep looking into the issue ... Please stay tuned.... Sorry for the inconvenience...
Dean
I'm in Brazil and I'm also having that same problem.
Everyone,
The problem is with a node managed by Opticfusion. I have discussed the matter with their network team and waiting on a timeline for resolution. More info to follow
Thank you for your patience,
Dean

Thank you for your good work!
I am able to connect now. I didn't clear cache or do anything since last reporting the problem still existed. I just tried it again and site loaded.
Not sure if that means the problem was fixed or if I randomly got a different node.

I found a thing that had gone a bit wonky and fixed it.
Thanks for your patience.

Looks good to me.
Thanks!
Yep, good on my end!
Thankies!
Thanks for the quick fix!
It's working perfectly now! Thank you so much!
Confess, you fixed it by switching it off and on again, right? Everything is solved like that xD

This! Could only reach the site successfully on a sporadic basis yesterday and then couldn't reach it all today. Obviously that is now changed. Hope whatever was wrong is permanently fixed. Thanks!

Thank you so much. I'm posting this from my computer this morning, and I have a Jade Regent game on today and the PRD is key to my GMing. You saved the day for six very excited players hoping to get over the Crown of the World very soon :)

My ability to get pages to load is hit and miss....so clearly something is still wrong.
Ditto. I just had 5 minutes of only getting to https pages but now everything is back again.
I think it's happening again....
Yep... same problem, site can't be reached again
It's been happening at least since 6 in the morning (GMT+1)
I can access it perfectly with my phone, though, but not by WiFi.
Same issue. Multiple ISPs can't get through to paizo.com in Australia. Not without using an international VPN anyway.

Case closed!
Yep, couldn't access on my laptop and isitdownrightnow reported the server was inaccessible. Loaded right up on my phone.
I'm almost always on my phone so I hadn't noticed. :-)
We must be like 6 people on the boards right now... xD
The boards are up for me (obviously) but my friends on whatsapp are all getting "site cannot be reached."
I have been having problems like this and general very slow performance for weeks.
It's a malfunction caused by too many alignment conflict threads.
Aside from that: if evil firewall is evil, should it fall?
I can only get https on my home ISP. I can get to everything on my mobile network.

Still can't access from Australia except via my phone.
