Yep. It's a struggle for me to keep up on all my games, as hard as I'm trying. Hopefully, I'll post in Gameplay tonight, assuming I can think of what to say.
Albus Wodeward
Sorry my computer's issue has cropped up again, video system issues, I can only log on in safe mode which is odd.
May be a bit spotty in posting, of course, this happens on the holiday weekend. Computers are so inconsiderate. :)
Still chewing on my response, hope I can post in the morning.
Aelerie Mirisen
Seriously! I was in the middle of posting and I go to preview it and combat's over. Nicely done guys!
And I'm sorry that my posting has slowed down. We adopted a puppy over the weekend! She's adorable, but also a total pain; I haven't been able to take my eyes off of her for two seconds without her getting into trouble.
Albus Wodeward
Vicious and quick, I was a bit concerned going in. Also I may not have made it clear that Albus is checking also for evidence that a kid was gobbled.
Puppies, like kittens and kids, are suppose to get in trouble, then be too cute to be mad at. Good Luck!
Pacing is great, compared to most on the boards you're driving an Indy racer, GM.
Virdel Harg
Yes that was very fortunate rolling to get that result. 2x actions each against flat-footed opponents plus the crit etc.
I agree- it's fun when it works out that way!
Javell
I like it, but I'll have to wait for a while (until the rules go online) until I can actually use it- as a college student on a tight budget, about 90% of my (very small) rulebook collection are from secondhand stores, garage sales and the like. So, I doubt I'll grab the SFCRB anytime too soon.

To all my games:
My wife had an emergency c-section at 6 am EST this morning at 35 weeks and 45 years old. Robbie is 3 lb 11 oz and in the NICU. Both are ok.
I don't know what kind of access to here I will have for the next while. I don't have a smart phone or laptop currently. Please bot me as needed and if you feel the need to remove me, I won't be offended. Things are going to be hectic the next few weeks but I do intend to return to my games.
Thank you.
L.R. Stewart
Virdel Harg
Congrats on the baby! Good to hear both are doing ok- that's a risky situation. Take care of them and we can watch out for Laro. :D
GM Stargin
My firstborn had to spend a little while in the NICU so we know how difficult this time can be, but also that we have full faith that things are going to work out perfectly for you and your family. L.R. Take it easy and don't worry about the game.
I don't think any of us will have an issue with slowing down a bit. I'll bot you as needed once every two or three days and we'll be waiting for you when mom and baby are well settled.
Albus Wodeward
Slow down is fine, I may be busy through the day, today for sure and maybe for a few days. Should be posting in early morning and late evening though.
RE: Starfarer, hadn't really thought out getting it. Sci-Fi fantasy Planetary Adventure stories can be interesting in a retro way, but easily turns gonzo quickly. I don't like gonzo that much. To explain, Barsoom is over the top, Martian Chronicals is too artsy, and Heinlein's PA stories are about right, IMHO. So If you're thinking of running something like that after this story is done, I'd be interested but a bit particular. Hope that helps.
Virdel Harg
I'm not real keen on Starfinder either except for some of the mechanical changes that have been hinted about. I signed up for a scenario using the iconic pregens to give it a whirl, so we'll see in a few weeks when that starts.
Aelerie Mirisen
Congratulations on your new baby, L.R.! My thoughts are with you and your family, and I pray you'll have them home soon.
No complaints from me if we have to slow down a bit. I'm convinced this puppy is trying to kill me. Apparently, the Belgian Malinois is known for its stubbornness. ...Hurray.
And as for Starfinder, I know next to nothing about it, but I've never been very big on sci-fi or space exploration. Strictly sword & sorcery for me.
Aelerie Mirisen
I was going to go for a lightning elemental since you mentioned the Forge Spurned was wrapped in steel chains, but when I read "regeneration", I figured we'd need the big guns. After seeing how much damage they did and it's still alive, I think I made the right choice. =)
Aelerie Mirisen
Hurray! Level 2 spells, here we come! As always, I welcome any suggestions. Right now, I'm thinking of taking glitterdust, and something from the school of evocation; probably flaming sphere or flurry of snowballs. Then again, mathematical curse looks pretty nifty, and flavorful for a know-it-all like Aelerie.
Aelerie Mirisen
I think glitterdust is a must (concealment for you frontliners and Laro gets his sneak attacks without having to flank), but then I have trouble justifying picking up another debuff right now. So evocation it is, probably.
Whatever I can do to help keep us alive or contribute to our effectiveness, really.
Aelerie Mirisen
Oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me about the ABP.
Everything's great in the game for me. As always, I'm liking the characterizations. Kimi and Jurin are exactly how I expected them to be, and the kobolds' dialogue is always amusing. I can't think of anything that could stand to be improved upon...
Virdel Harg
I forgot about ABP as well. I have the day off tomorrow so I will get updated by then.
Yeah I have no complaints, other than how prolific you all can be! heh None of my other games have (18 new) next to them on a regular basis!
Seriously though this is a great group and a fun set of modules. You are doing awesome Stargin! :D
Albus Wodeward
Fantastic job GM Stargin. Pacing is flawless fast without being hurried.
Over 700 posts since late March. Very few games come close to that.
Characters are perfect and the way you weave the player's actions into the narrative is excellent.
Thanks for the remainder on Automatic Bonus Progression. I'll be working on my character over the next couple of days and post it after the level-up happens.
Aelerie Mirisen
Here are the new changes level 4 brings for Aelerie! I think I've accounted for everything. I'll have her character sheet updated in a moment, and a reply posted soon after that.
