Hi Piccolo,
We aren't here on weekends and were closed yesterday because of snow. Sorry about the confusion!
I've applied the Rain17 discount to your order and I'll be sending you an updated confirmation email in just a second. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with in the meantime.
Thanks!
Katina

Diego,
Ah, but several times your billing has come early(If I don't have enough in my account to cover it at the time, you guys send me a notice despite the fact that your charge doesn't stick until later), then the bill disappears. Later on, the final bill goes through.
I've never before dealt with a company whose billing was so very odd.

Hello Piccolo,
Those aren't charges. When the order is created the bank gets pinged to make sure the card is valid. When this happens most banks will put a temporary hold on the funds, which can look like a pending transaction on your end. What is happening is our card processor tells your bank, "We are going to be charging this card $x.xx. Here is the information we have for it. Will it go through?" Then you bank either tells our card processor yes or no. If they say no, we email you to let you no. If they say yes they usually also put the amount of money aside because they want to make sure it doesn't get spent before the charge comes through. Those authorizations only last for a few business days before the bank puts the money they set aside back. With subscriptions, because we have so many to ship many will ship out after the holds are released. On your end this can look like a pending transaction that then disappears.
Authorizations are not uncommon, but they usually get finalized before they expire so you likely won't notice them. One of the reasons we do them with subscriptions is so that if we can't use a card we can let the person know before we start shipping.

Ah, but your system TREATS them as charges, and so does my bank. Thus, I am temporarily excessively charged for something.
To be honest, I don't like your charging system. You ping several times (not just once) to see if I have funds, and I can never predict when these times occur. Makes me less likely to buy from you.
