What rights do intelligent undead like liches have in Cheliax?

So like wise I'm a necromancer going in for the ritual of crumification (Necropolitan). Basically I just add the undead template to my character. I was told they do not have any rights compared to a citizen even though I am undead and a mage with an intelligence.

They just have a rule that all undead be kept in check should they go on a crazy killing spree they need someone to be held accountable for the damages ect...

I don't plan on walking around with rotten flesh but I plan on taking every precaution to preserve my original body with magics and potions. To say I will look like a human but just paler and a white hue film over my eyes?

Liber Mortis p. 114. So no you do not look like a human. I think you also missed that part about losing a level + 1000xp.

I would say everyone in Cheliax has the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, you are out of luck. Your PC is guilty of conspiracy to murder at the least, and probably murder itself, as it conspired with and paid someone to impale itself.

Using the Necromancy in Settlements rules on the inside back cover of the Undead Slayer's Handbook and the city stats for Egorian in For Queen & Empire necromancy is legal in the Capital. Local jurisdictions may differ. As always consult your lawyer before attempting possible illegal activities.

Next time you might also consider having a conversation with your DM before pulling weird crap.

I second that. You should see it as a challenge. You have no rights, unless you force others to respects your 'rights' anyway.
