I think folks can stop sounding the 5E alarm. Yeah a lot of players have chosen to head over to 5E. Its a simplified rule system with a snails pace release schedule to avoid bloat.

It's not so much a "snails pace release to avoid bloat" as more of a measure of how much priority Hasbro puts on the game as opposed to it's other much more profitable lines. It's a major difference to a game whether it's just a minor line that was picked up as a collateral acquisition to a buyer who really just wanted the card lines, as opposed to a game that's currently a company's sole reason for existence.

I'm just tired of it being called "elegant"

There's nothing "elegant" about the size of Halfling heads in the players handbook. :-)

Folks I didn't intend for my comments to open season on 5E. Yes the slower pace is a strategy for whatever reasons. The point is its a different strategy than PF currently has and I think it would be foolish to try and emulate it.

Artistic critique:
Yeap, the Pixar fatlings art is terribad!

Also I'm sure lots of people who are playing 5E are also playing Pathfinder. Funnily enough people can play more than one thing. Shocking I know.

Locking. We have enough "Pathfinder 2" speculation threads, and this one doesn't seem to be headed in a particularly productive direction.
