Solaran might be the jedi expy we want
Solaran?
Oh please elaborate.
I am also hoping we get equivalents for anything from the AvP universe, and yeah I know we have the Hive already, but still, give me some Predators.

Solarians are sort of this mystical kind of group who are all about maintaining balance, and so they’ve got this fundamental mechanic where they’ve got some powers that pull them toward one side of this energy spectrum, which is creating energy instead of destroying it. Like sort of supernovas on one side and black holes on the other. Gravity vs. energy. I’m explaining this terribly, but the book does it better. Basically, unlike the Force in Star Wars, which is varied by a light side and a dark side, imagine a Jedi with no moral component, just different abilities from different sides. As you use the abilities for one side or another, you get better at those and worse at the others. During combat, which abilities you use now affect which abilities will be most powerful or most available to you a few rounds later in combat, and so you’re always looking down the road.

Closest to colonial Marines are base soldiers. Depending if your going off the films, novels, or comics. The Predators are Hunters. Go with Ranger, ignore magic, change some weapon proficiencies and starting gear, there you go.

I would also suggest a variant Favored Enemy that allows them to change their Favored Enemy on the fly after spending sometime studying their new targets.

Don't know about changing favored enemies on the fly. Maybe getting favored enemies faster.
The issue with this is that predator's hunt anything and everything, primarily sentient species. Given how many different species in the universe that they hunt, being shoe-horned into only a handful of Favored Enemies seems inappropriate for them.
The Studied Target/Combat would be easier to fit in I think; however, I still think a variant Favored Enemy works better. Perhaps something along the lines of only being able to have one type of Favored Enemy at a time that is selected at the start of each day. That way you still get the thematic feel without making the ability too powerful (which is more along the lines of what I meant by "on the fly").

The favored enemies list does cover a lot of sentient species. Also keep in mind the Predators main targets to hunt is the most dangerous species, xenomorphs are top billing for dangerous and sentient due to their hive mind capabilities. Study target should be in since humans tend to vary when the hunt calls for human prey (commando, detective, bokor, guide, townspeople, mercenary, cartel, yakuza, special ops).
