CotCT hardback, plus horror and maybe paladins?

Curse of the Crimson Throne

Sovereign Court

I have a pair of questions about CotCT:

How well does horror adventures new rules integrate with the campaign and its themes/motifs (I feel like it wouldn't be completely incongruous).

And: how well do paladin PCs (or antithetically) Hellknight PCs fit?

I know that in Carrion Crown 5, there is a point where a paladin will ruin the plot. Is there similar moments in CotCT that I should be on the look out for, since I have a player interested in playing a Paladin, and conversely another wishing to play a (hopefully LN) Hellknight.

I can't see horror adventures causing any issues. The new hardcover actually references it for a few things like players gaining lycanthropy.

Paladin works but it's reccomended not to worship one of the more law focused dieties, I believe Hellknight is discouraged. If you haven't yet check the players guide that James Jacobs published as a blog for a better look at Paizo's reccomendations.

The only real judge of if it will work will be yourself as a GM however, I know that's a cop out reply but if you're willing to put in the work and make changes where needed there is no reason the above can't work.

Horror adventures will integrate easily, especially in Scarwall. My party had a paladin of Iomedae which worked very well

Spoiler:
Mandraivus cabal included a paladin of Abadar
and a Hellknight PC would be a fun challenge from a role playing perspective.
