You know what would be cool? An [init] tag that sorted all the dice rolls inside it according to the results of the rolls, highest to lowest. :D

That, and I agree with another poster that somehow marking spoilered text, like with an indent or color field or something, would be really nice.

Cheers!

Hi Kamaloo!

They already did add indentation to spoiler'd text. If you want to add color, you could do that with my browser extension.

Also make sure you vote for new features for it; the init tag that you describe is something I have in mind as a follow-up to the Sheet Parser and [roll] tag.

I have three ideas for website functionality:

1) Add a new tab to the campaigns (play-by-post) that is only visible to the Gamemaster. This would allow the GM to keep game-pertinent data right on the webpage, out of the players' sight, so that paper logs and such don't need to be maintained for secret information such as Bad Guy hit points, secret rolls, random encounter tables, notes on NPC behavior, etc.

2) Add a functionality to PbP spoilers to be tagged with "permission" granted only to specific players. This would be great for actually keeping players from unintentionally meta-gaming with knowledge they shouldn't have. It is also a viable alternative to my above suggestion #1, as the GM could use a private spoiler (tagged as only viewable by the GM) to keep information close at hand but hidden from players.

3) I love the feature that shows "20 new" posts on a thread you previously viewed, but it is a bummer when it shows "164 new", you click on the thread but didn't have time to read all of the new posts. It would be a neat update to the "x new" functionality to keep unseen pages of the thread (in increments of 50 I suppose?) as "new" and unseen. In other words, the "x new" would remain until you have viewed all pages of the thread, or would update at -50 every time you view a new page of thread responses. (sorry if this is unclear. I couldn't think of a clear, concise way to convey this concept)

Hey Zedth,

Your #2 is precisely the "private" tag that's up for voting as a new feature for my extension. #1 and #3 are interesting, and might make for good future features as well!
