Hello everyone! I have a question concering the Champion Spirit. When channeling the Champion Spirit, you gain proficiency in one exotic weapon. Granted you only have the proficiency while you have the spirit channeled (lasts 24 hours), can you select that exotic weapon for Weapon Focus? My gut feeling is no because it's not a permanent proficiency as I could channel a different spirit (which will never happen). Please let me know what your thoughts are. Thanks!

There are generally two schools of thought on issues like this;
1: You can do it, but you lose the benefits whenever the pre-req is unavailable. So... whenever you weren't channeling the Champion Spirit (or channeling it with a different weapon) you'd lose the benefit of Weapon Focus.
2: You can't do it because you don't have the ability 'permanently' or 'enough'... though 24 hours is one of the commonly accepted thresholds for 'enough'.
I'm personally firmly in the first camp.
i believe the first is the correct one. Jason has said that the brawler can take 2wf feats that would only activate while doing it's flurry. Since that's the case I feel that taking weapon focus is fine
