So I have a character who is either level 5 or level 7, depending on what exactly counts as experience.
I played three parts of The Dragon's Demand with a character who started at level 3 and advanced to level 4 after Part 1, which I received the chronicle sheet for. I played the next two parts and managed to get her up to level 6 with them; however, due do logistical issues I never received a chronicle sheet for them, so I regarded those sessions as not having happened as far as experience goes. I kept my character at level 4 for the next scenario which raised her to level 5.
However, I recently logged in here and found that the GM for the module earlier had registered parts 2 and 3 online, which would indicate my character received experience for them and should be at level 7. What counts as experience in this case?
EDIT: I am going to keep her at level 5 until I'm sure the other two levels count, as I don't want to give myself an unearned advantage. Also, the scenarios in which she earned her first two levels were ones I received chronicle sheets for (The Skinsaw Murders in Campaign Mode and Shades of Ice, Part 3: Keep of the Huscarl King), but were never submitted to Paizo, and I lost both sheets when I moved to Arizona.

DOH
The sessions still happened, even if you lose the chronicle.
With that in mind, when you played all of the sessions were you a legal character? If not you created a timey whimey ball?
Were they all dragons demand?
Start level 3 Dragons Demand I Level 4
Part 1: The Blood Vow Lair (areas B1–B20) 1–3
Part 2: Hunclay’s Cave, Auction, 3–5
and Crypt of Tula (areas D1–E12)
Part 3: Monastery of Saint Kyerixus (areas F1–G8) 5–7
So part I, level 3 you're good
part II level 4 You're good
Part III Level 5 you're good.
It looks like you didn't make a timey whimey ball, so you should just apply all the credit. There wasn't even any issue with what tier or whatever your party should have been in, because its a module
Looks like no harm no foul pile on all the levels.

Hi
My starting point is that every game played as part of the PFS campaign counts but if it counts it counts for replay too. So this is a potentially tricky situation.
Page 38 of the GTOP gives a lot of space to how important reporting events are. You technically need to have a complete stack of chronicles for a GM to audit and for those sessions actually reported a VO will be delighted to help.
Just to get a bit more info :-)
If I read this correctly you are missing two sheets: 1 chronicle for skin saw murders (3xp presumably assigned to a new character) & 1 for Shades of ice (1xp). If a VO can provide you with the chrons that were reported does that mean you will have all the chrons you need bar the first two? Meaning all the chronicles from 5xp up to date?
If you used modules to get from 3rd to 6th where did you get the 5th & 6th XP from to move from lvl 1.1 (4 XP) upto level 3.0 (6 XP)

OK, this is the complete history of my character:
Level 1:
Skinsaw Murders, 1 session only: 2 xp, sheet awarded, lost, session not reported.
Shades of Ice, part 3: Keep of the Huscarl King: 1 xp, sheet awarded, lost, session not reported.
Level 2:
Trouble in Tamran: 1 xp, sheet awarded, session reported.
The Wounded Wisp: 1 xp, sheet awarded, session reported.
Before the Dawn, Part 2: Rescue at Azlant Ridge: 1 xp, sheet awarded, session reported
Level 3:
Rivalry's End: 1 xp, sheet awarded, session reported. Pregen credit.
The Blakros Matrimony: 1 xp, sheet warded, session reported. Pregen credit.
The Dragon's Demand, part 1: 3 xp, sheet awarded, session reported.
Level 4:
The Dragon's Demand, part 2: 3 xp, sheet missed. Session reported, I was unaware that session was reported.
Level 5:
The Dragon's Demand, part 3: 3 xp, sheet missed. Session reported, I was unaware that session was reported.
I played two sessions after the module, believing my character was level 4 since I had no chronicle sheet. These were as follows:
Level 4 (assumed):
Echoes of the Overwatched: 1 xp, sheet awarded, session reported.
Level 5 (assumed):
Rise of the Goblin Guild: 1 xp, sheet awarded, session reported.
So my total xp is 19, which would put me at level 7. However the problems are as follows:
I have no record at all of The Skinsaw Murders or Shades of Ice.
I have no chronicle sheet for parts 2 and 3 of The Dragon's Demand.
The last two sessions were both level 1-5 adventures, and my character would technically have been level 6 at that time, so I am not sure that can be counted.
As such, only 10 xp can be proven for my character, leaving her at level 3. I am going to Strategicon this weekend (cons are apparently very strict about the rules), so I do need to know what to do with this character. I don't believe there is any way I can get the sheets from Skinsaw Murders or Shades of Ice as those were over a year ago and I have had no contact with the GMs for those games (and that was in Virginia while I live in California now). I'm not sure about The Dragon's Demand either, as that took place in Arizona earlier this year.

Thanks!
I thought that you might have ended up accidentally playing out of tier. In terms of XP your VO might consider judicious use of slow progression on one of the module chronicles to keep you legal. Then check each Chron if needed and adjust for in and out of sub tier gold.
Keep us informed what you & Jon-Enee come up with. If somehow it is unresolved by Friday I can only suggest using pregens but let's not worry about that just yet.
Enjoy the con this weekend, I am bit jealous as I'm double booked this Saturday so missing one of ours!

Without taking a close look at tiers/subtiers, it appears that if you convert your last 4 chronicles (2 modules, 2 scenarios) to slow track (with VC/VL assistance) it would leave you on 15 XP: just hitting 6th level, and you would still have been in-tier for the last two tier 1-5 scenarios.

OK, if the situation doesn't get resolved I'll play at level 6. Best compromise I can think of for now. Also, if that doesn't work I might take the opportunity to create a new level 1 character.
Sorry but as things stand I think we're looking at either a brand new PC or a pregen. And yes Paz is correct you will need more than one chronicle changed to slow progression (Sorry about the typo) but the details of what can be done will be sorted by the VO.
BTW as it is urgent if the VC you reached out to is incommunicado at the moment I am sure others in California VO Corp would be happy to give their input.

Alright, I just sent out messages via PM and email to all the VC/VLs in the LA area, but I suspect that I'm probably not going to get a response. So do I have to make this character all over again from scratch if nothing happens?
Let''s cross bridges when we come to them. There is a chance you may not get things sorted before the weekend but I would imagine there will be people to speak to at the convention?? I am sure something can be sorted out once a local VO starts working on it. In the short term you can either play low tier tables with a new first level character or use a Pregen.

I unfortunately didn't notice I had a problem until just yesterday. I'd thought those sessions hadn't been reported since I hadn't received the character sheets. I don't usually check to see if sessions are reported or not.
Anyway, I'm talking to the local VC and one of the local VLs now about it, so things should be fine. Thanks for all your help.
