Five fantastic adventures, one for each level, playable for all skill levels but ideal introductory adventures for new and younger gamers! Set in a campaign setting inspired by the Colonial era in North America, the Trail of the Apprentice saga brings you intrigue, action, and adventure for all ages.
The Bandit's Cave for 1st-level characters

Adventures 1-4 are already written (#5 is being written right now), and over half of the artwork and maps are already complete. Backers should be able to download the first adventure (and hopefully several more) immediately once the Kickstarter ends on April 22nd, and we aim to have the full compilation ready in time for PaizoCon at the end of May!

As a father, I am very excited about this kickstarter.
As a father, so am I! :)
I'm delighted with the positive response we've seen to it so far and am looking forward to the expansions we have planned with stretch goals. I also just got off a conference call talking about some very interesting additional possibilities on the Realmworks platform! Stay tuned!

Four days left to go and over $13,000!
This terrific project just keeps getting better and better. Help us fly into a fantastic finish, with stretch goals at 250 backers (currently 240) to bring Matt Goodall's simplified gunslinger to the table, and at $14,000 (currently $13,050) to get brand-new cover art for the compilation version, and 1,500 Facebook likes (currently 1,463) to secure a d20Pro game of Trail of the Apprentice personally run by lead author Paris Crenshaw!
Help us spread the word, and even if you can drop by with a dollar you can help us reach backer goals for everybody!

Three days left to go and over 250 backers!
We are now counting down the hours, with brand-new cover art for the compilation easily within reach, and at $16,000 character cards for the key heroes and villains of the Adventure Path, and at 275 backers (currently 251) bringing Linda Zayas-Palmer's simplified witch character class!
It's an exciting race to the finish and we are thankful to everyone who has helped push this project along the way, from pledges to podcast interviews to just liking and sharing and asking questions along the way!
Now get out there and pledge before we reach the end of the Trail on Friday night!

It's the final day of the Trail of the Apprentice Kickstarter! Hop on the Trail today!
It's been a long Trail, but we are approaching the end. We still have time to hit more bonus goals, though! We thank each and every one of you for your support, but because we love milestones we give a special shout-out to Backer #300, John Bowlin, and to wolfthulu for pushing us over the $17,000 mark!
For hitting the 300-backer mark, we have added a bonus section on Continuing the Campaign! This section will discuss not only the secret master villain behind this Apprentice your heroes have been chasing (and what other apprentices or servants that villain may have), but also more broadly the idea of transitioning from a beginner-style game to a standard Pathfinder or 5E campaign.
We also are closing fast on $18,000, which would be TRIPLE our initial funding goal, and if we hit that number we'll be producing a brand-new Legendary Beginnings adventure. This won't be part of the storyline of Trail of the Apprentice, but we'll be offering you a choice of several different adventure ideas (including a sequel to Into the Feyweald, available as an add-on pledge) and every backer will have a chance to vote on which adventure they'd like to see us do! This adventure would be created after we finish our obligations to Trail of the Apprentice, of course, but if all goes well we may be able to get it done in time for GenCon this August!
Speaking of getting things done, The King's Curse has completed layout for the Pathfinder version and is in layout now for the 5E version, so once we complete our backer surveys you'll be able to get the first TWO adventures in the series next week!
The sketches for the last two pieces of art for the adventures came in last night, and they're looking great. I'm looking forward to the final versions for adventures #3 and #4, and I'm happy to share one below! Meanwhile, keep spreading the word #TrailoftheApprentice - this thing ain't over yet! KEEP CLIMBING THE TRAIL!!!
