Thanks for checking out my thread:
I have been working on this sourcebook off and on for over a month now, and decided I would post it publicly for critique. Its far from done, sitting at 43 pages, but I feel that it is in a state right now where it can be looked at for obvious balance issues that may have slipped by me.

If I make a major update, when I finish or add a new section, I will bump the thread.
Enjoy!

I read/skimmed, so I didn't catch everything, but what I did see looked awesome. The choice to completely ditch the usual human/dwarf/elf and go with an entirely monstrous society really set it apart. It has a very "Dark Sun" feel to it with the powerful races and minimum 4th level part.
Map looks great, and I love the sheer customization of all the races. Very nice.

Araenae is on the high powered side: the main reasons for this is an extra +2 to a state, Normally you would have 2 +2 and one -2 stat. Your race has 3 +2 stats with only one -2. Your race also has a high base land speed at 50ft. This race could make very good use of the magus class or the unchained monk. I would give the race a +1 or maybe even a +2 CR adjustment. Good luck.

This is intentional; all of the races for the region are stronger then core Paizo races (ECL +1/2 in the case of 3.5 or in the range of 25+ Race Points) by design. The region the source book is written for is harsh and dangerous, similar to 2nd Edition Dark Sun. Its a land plagued by eldritch horrors and other such hostilities.
I am planning on adding a section at some point to make the races more inline with 15-20RP races, but it will be closer to the end of the book.

For those watching this: I have been super busy these last few weeks and haven't been able to find time to write things.
I have been debating the corruption system as well... I want it to give small mechanical benefits (positive mutations) and roleplay and mechanical penalties (falling more towards the alignment of The Unknown, being more vulnerable to Psionics, being more vulnerable to Mind Effecting) but I'm getting stuck trying to figure out a way to balance it that doesn't end up with every character blatantly turning to the dark side. I'm also not 100% sure if I even *want* a system like this, since its a lot of bookkeeping as well.
