↬If you have anything in your sidecart that is *ready to go* when we run the order spawning process, it will be shipped with this subscription.
↬If you want to add anything to this subscription order, you have until the authorization date to add it to your sidecart. If it is after the authorization date, make sure you choose to ship with the pending order number.
↬If you add an item to a pending subscription order and the added item has a "should ship from warehouse estimate of 4-11 business days or longer, your subscription shipment will wait until that new item(s) arrive before it can be shipped. This may delay your subscription shipment!
↬If you need to make changes to the payment method or shipping address, you can make changes to the subscription until the authorization date, if it is after the authorization date, double check the changes applied to both the pending order and the subscription.

I had a "expected to ship in 1 to 7 days" note on my subscription page which since disappeared, and, my side cart got reassigned to ship in April. Argh! My side cart is the Monster Codex Pawns! Argh again!
If you're looking at the My Subscriptions page right now, there will probably be some display errors. No worries yet!
The auth (order spawning process) is still running. If it crashes or we have to stop and restart it for any reason, the My Subscriptions page has display issues until we finish generating all of the orders.
If that page has updated or you haven't gotten an order confirmation email by the time we post here that the auth has finished, let us know, and we can look into it.

So, we had a slight issue where backordered Beginner Boxes did not behave correctly and started combining with pending subscription orders. This effected a very small number of users and Customer Service is correcting those orders as soon as possible. The auth is running again and should be wrapping up Soon™.

I always get so confused about the various usages of Soon. (First used by a CM from LOTRO - Sapience)
Please keep in mind; the measurements below are highly accurate (as are their relationships to each other). However, the descriptions are for entertainment purposes only. Unless you win money, then you owe me 10%.
- NOW!
Never gonna happen!
- At some point in the future (also; At some point)
We’re in pure Nostradamus territory here. We have a magic 8 ball and even it said, “Ask again later”.
- In the future
This isn’t going to happen during any variety of soon you care to use. In fact, it’s pretty far out there. Not as far as ‘at some point’, but we’re certainly not suggesting you book vacation time just yet. We’re probably talking about something that is possible within the current time line. Assuming, of course, the Mayans, Vikings, and 47 other random stone carvings were wrong and we’re still here after all that crazy ‘end of the world’ stuff.
- In the near future
This is absolutely, positively, without question, a possibility. In fact, it might even be a real possibility. But as to when, we’ll have to get back to you on that one.
- Soon™
No lie. It’s going to happen. It’s going to happen really freakin’, like, eventually. But it will happen!
- “Soon”
It’s official! We have given consideration to a possible date and we now have several possibilities!
- Soon
We’ve narrowed the date down to something within the calendar year!
- soon
No really, we have a date now! It’s even penciled in on a calendar somewhere!
- MoreSoonerish
We have a date, and we’re probably going to tell you what that date is…soon!
- Incredisoon
OK! We’re done messin’ around. We have a date, we’ve found the calendar we wrote it on, and we are going to tell you. Like right freakin’ shortly! Seriously!
- Tomorrowish-esque™
This is going to happen within the next 24 hours. Give or take some random number of hours which may or may not exceed an amount equal to the number of miles between the reader and the International Date Line divided by 163.97241. Unless the person is actually standing on the International Date Line at the time of reading, in which case the world will end in a cataclysmic divide by zero error and none of this will matter anyway. This is all barring any conflicts with ‘The Schedule’, of course.
- As soon as possible
Time being the slippery thing it is, this has quite probably already happened. If not, it is very likely to happen while someone is typing up the message telling you when it will happen. Assuming, that it is in fact possible.
Modifiers, adjustments, and other fun stuff.
Capitalization
As a general rule, capitalization will tip you off as to a measurement’s place in time. Capital letters denote a longer period of time than lower case letters. This applies to all uses of capitalization when dealing with time. Thus Soon is longer than soon. Likewise, MoreSoonerish, Moresoonerish, and moresoonerish are all incremetally shorter periods from longest to shortest.
TM and its uses;
The notorious ™ has very specific meanings. It denotes a longer period of time than the word or phrase would otherwise represent without the addition of the ™.
“Quotes"
The use of quotes, like the use of TM and Capitalization has specific meaning. It is another measure of extending the noted period of time. Though it denotes a shorter extension than either ™ or Capitalization.
Combined notation
When you see a combination of modifiers (™, quotes, and capitalization) you must consider the impact of all modifiers on the base measurement. The more modifiers, the larger the expansion of time from the base measurement.
Addendum A: Spooky Stuff
It’s on schedule
This relates exclusively to a highly theoretical method of calculating time commonly referred to as, ‘The Schedule’. The Schedule is part of an emerging understanding of time called Quantum Sapience Time. Schedule Time has the amazing ability to exist, not exist, and potentially exist or not exist all at the same instant. It is only the act of observing The Schedule that forces it into a fixed state in which the normal rules of Sapience Time apply. This is commonly called “entanglement”. Entangling one’s self with The Schedule is a very risky proposition as it can lead to temporal disorientation. Especially as it does not require one to be in any physical proximity to The Schedule. Albert Einstein himself referred to this as “Spooky action at a distance.”
Addendum B: Backward Causality:
We told you so
Any attempt to look back upon or view the flow of Sapience Time from a future point will amplify and enhance the predictive and pre-deterministic nature of soon. The effect of this observance is to reveal the perfect accuracy of all predictions within the fabric of the Sapience Time Continuum. In short, the act of releasing content will cause the time line to become self-evident and clearly predictive of the exact moment in the future at which the release will happen when viewed from that future.

The authorization mostly completed this weekend, though it left a couple of stragglers that we had to finish up this morning.
At this time, if you did not receive an order confirmation email and were expecting one, please let us know by email, phone, or by creating your own thread on the customer service messageboards.

I waited patiently yesterday and NOTHING. Today I RAGE!!! I will tear through the streets of my city wreaking havoc and spreading terror... Or I'll just sit here staring at my email folder hitting refresh : )

I'm not sure of the details of the magic behind things, but the vague idea is that we optimize things to ship as many orders out as quickly as possible.

Hrm. I'm looking in my order and I see a Beginner's Box and a note that the subscription order is now "waiting for backordered products". I don't think I saw that message before, but maybe I'm blind and just looked past it.
Is this the same problem mentioned above, and should I be worried about it?

            Hello Terminalmancer,
Your Beginner Box order was placed before we ran out and they went to backorder so we have one for you. It will be shipping with your subscription order. The reason you see that on it is because the product status updates site wide. So anywhere that shows it will show it being on backorder.

So this is weird...
I got my initial Authorization email and Authorization charge to my account on Mar 10 which subsequently was removed as normal after a few days. I got another charge yesterday (March 18) which usually (Always) means I get a shipping email and my PDFs, which did not happen.
Is Paizo now sending out Authorization requests again after a certain time period?

Dear lord Customer Service, take my money already and send my stuff. You've been waiting to finalize it for a week now.
Scratch that, was Mar 10. 11 days and counting. Seems shipping is getting slower and slower.

            Hello Malik,
Your order is on a pick list right now, which means it is in the batch of orders the warehouse is packing up and getting out the door. So it should be on it's way soon. We usually allow up to 2 weeks to get all of the subscriptions orders sipped out, so we should be taking your money by the end of the week.

Yup I know, though this time seems longer than normal.
I believe last time my order was shipped 4 days after initial confirmation

The algorithm moves you around in the queue each month. Skeld goes first, obviously. Then the rest of us are grouped into batches of similar orders and those batches get shipped out - sometimes early, sometimes late. (I believe there's a complication for those out-of-the-ordinary orders, but that's the gist).
I've been through patches of always being early for a few months and always being late. I find it difficult to pin down exactly how the variables intersect (although my experience is that sidecarting non-paizo products always pushes me to the end of the queue in the next month).

I've also heard that when it comes time to decide the order of shipments, Cosmo looks at whoever seems the most excited to get their books/pdfs and sends them to the end of the queue so he can wallow in their agony.

I got mine early one month and was excited. Big mistake! Now that he knows I am a reliable source of agony, I seem to be reliably near the back of the line.
(It'd probably help if I'd stop sidecarting.)
