At the moment we are playing The Mummys Mask campaighn
& I am or was a level 7 Cleric of Sarenrae & we are very close to the main fight a necromancer now as you guys should all know a cleric of sarenrae take pride in killing undead & necromancers etc etc blah blah
but after last nights unfortunate session I got killed & looks very likely my character wont be there for the main fight so understandably if after the fight my character is raised & he learns he has missed out on that fight he wouldn ot be in a happy place understandably missing out on the main thing this character is expected to deal with and lives for/to do
so my question is how should i react afterwards being upset about this is my character is bought back when everyone is getting the recognition for it ?
1) Wrong forum. Should be Advice or Mummy's Mask AP subforum.
2) You do only need to click "Submit Post" once, sometimes the forum software is slow.
3) Is your character particularly evangelical about personally killing undead? If not, just be happy that the party did what Sarenrae wants, even without your guidance.

Some things your character could do:
Insist the group return to the Observatory and do another sweep for undead. While there perform cleansing rituals and whatnot.
Pledge yourself to destroying the Mask at whatever cost, so that no other undead will ever be created by its wearers (details in book 3, so I won't spoil it for you). This also is a plot pushing agenda that agrees well with the AP and helps you through the overarching plot lag in Tephu section of book 3 and book 5 should you not kill a certain NPC in book 4.
Force yourself to go kill an X number of undead solo in atonement for failing to help destroy such a menace.
I like the Destroying the mask idea will talk to my Gm about that one

also what is and how would I perform a cleansing ritual?
I like that idea to but I don't think the group I am in would do that or let me do that as good as it sounds :-(
destroying the mask idea sounds best so far but my next session with that character is not until next Tuesday or Tuesday after depending on how encounter goes & if I am raised or whatever afterwards

Have you ever considered, just being thankful for being alive, maybe bake everyone that hauled your dead carcass out of the mausoleum a pie, saying thanks to those that avenged your death against the Necromancer. :-D

I might say that anyway if I get ressed but it doesn't really strike me as imaginative sounds like something that not much thought has gone into if I was to say that I don't think puts across how my character would be feeling at that point
The Necromancer fight going well so far we are traveling with a NPC called Teminib at the moment which I am playing as my cleric as mentioned earlier got killed by that Anubis statue cleared the undead and the 2 mummy's with a earth elemental the monk summoned and some of Teminibs bursts to harm undead and people wailing in got a scroll of summon vanth currently attacking the necromancer with everyone closing in on him at the moment hopefully will finish the fight next week
