I'm making up a Pathwalker as a candidate for a PBP, and I'm finding it hard to fit one phrase in the Pathwalker description into the rules. I'm using this page to make it up.
The phrase I can't figure out is the third sentence in the first paragraph of "Maneuvers" (emphasis mine).
A pathwalker begins his career with knowledge of three martial maneuvers. The pathwalker may select any two disciplines from the following list: Broken Blade, Iron Tortoise, Primal Fury, Scarlet Throne, Solar Wind, and Thrashing Dragon. These two disciplines will determine which warrior paths he may select as he makes his journey to martial perfection, selecting one to be his primary path and the second discipline path as his secondary at the appropriate level.
I can't find anything in the rules about what it means for a discipline to be primary or secondary. And I can't find anything in any rules about being limited to taking maneuvers from only one discipline until you reach a particular level.
Does this mean I have to only take maneuvers from one discipline at 1st level? When can I choose from other schools? Does a discipline's status as a primary or secondary affect my manifester level?
I have looked in all the Path of War classes, and the Disciplines and Maneuvers page, and the Systems and Use page, and can't find these definitions.
Second question: the table below the archetype description says that the Pathwalker knows 3 maneuvers and one stance. The text says nothing about stances. Does this mean three maneuvers, one of which must be a stance? Or 3 maneuvers AND a stance?

No, all it means is that you pick one discipline's associated Path at 1st level, and then the second discipline's associated path when you get your secondary Path class feature at 9th level.
It affects nothing except which PsyWar path you take at each level.
Thanks, that makes sense now. So I can choose Broken Blade as my PATH at 1st level, but I can take maneuvers and stances from any of Broken Blade, Iron Tortoise, Primal Fury, Scarlet Throne, Solar Wind, and Thrashing Dragon at any level. Do I have that right?
Also, what about the second question? Is the stance counted separately?

I am back with information!
Allow me to break things down as per the RAI of ErrantX, the Path of War Author.
You choose two Disciplines from the list of: Broken Blade, Iron Tortoise, Primal Fury, Scarlet Throne, Solar Wind, and Thrashing Dragon. Those are the only two disciplines you can learn maneuvers from.
Of those two disciplines you chose, you gain the path abilities of one of those disciplines at level 1 (this is your "primary" discipline) and the other path abilities of the second discipline at level 9 (this is your "secondary" discipline).
At 1st level you learn 3 maneuvers and 1 stance comprised of maneuvers from either of the two disciplines you chose, gaining more maneuvers and stances as you level per the table in the Pathwalker Archetype.
Stances are separate from maneuvers, they are only counted as maneuvers for purposes of meeting prerequisites.
IF YOU ARE USING PATH OF WAR EXPANDED: You also gain access to the Sleeping Goddess discipline for free in addition to the other two disciplines you chose. You can choose to learn maneuvers from any of those three disciplines.
I hope this clears up any confusion, it's been added to our notes for errata.
