Stargazer trait question.

Iron Gods

My character as the stargazer campaign trait for iron gods. It gives me a "+2 to identify aliens, their weaknesses and abilities" my DM asked me to find out what an alien is, so I can start using this trait.

I have a character with this trait in the game I run, and I rule that it is for any creature not of Golarion, excluding extra-planar cratures. The creature's description in the Bestiary or the module should mention something about it coming from outside of Golarion.

I think it's weird your GM is asking this. The adventures themselves describe where the various monsters you encounter are from, and which ones are aliens. Some monsters turn out to have been aliens all along, but have successfully spread across Golarion. But a GM really shouldn't have to ask his players this, it should be the other way around.

I'd say anything native to the Material Plane but not native to Golarion.

Iron Gods will tell your DM when it's a Alien. I Laughed a lot reading the whole adventure path and it's aliens.
