Every time you come up, I try to figure out why you picked that spell for construction. Another similar spell is a much better fit both mechanically and thematically, so I find myself wondering why you didn't go with the obvious choice.
It's a small thing that I shouldn't be concerned about...and I'm upvoting you anyway, but it will drive me nuts again next time I see you.
That could describe my entry. I chose what I did purely because the name fit more thematically, even though a lower level spell's mechanics were a better fit.

I can't help but feel this one is some sort of joke reference or IP thing that I am not familiar with. I have no idea why I, or anyone, would spend that much gold on something whose primary feature appears to be an odd quasi-drawback.
Iiiiii like this item alright but the last line bamboozles me because it seems like an odd restriction to throw if the benefit of your item would, specifically, let you get around that. I was gonna vote for you but now I gotta reconsider your competition. :(

Which reminds me - all you Word users... (probably similar options in other word processing software)
Select ALL your item text...
Click the review tab/menu...
Click the language option/drop-down...
Click Set Proofing Language...
Set to US English for spelling and grammar...
(this sets the checking temporarily for that document and does not set it globally, so will not affect your normal settings)
BEWARE red squiggles in the entry box, the entry box in your browser uses your local globalisation, so for example, a chrome user in the UK will see spell checks in UK English and not US English.
When writing anything for gaming companies, the majority of companies use US English as the standard and not UK English. Do check this though when working as a freelancer.
US English example : Armour is wrong, Armor is right.
Always spell check with a US English setting, it will save you a lot of grief.

When I equip this item completely, I lose a good ability that I had when equipping partly. I foresee PCs staying partly equipped and then using some actions in combat to finish equipping the item. And I already have enough non-sensical PC actions with the official rules :-(
I wonder if the Snarkspire will tower to 50 pages.Last RPGSS, the Snark reached the 96th page ;-)

Why yes it is appropriate I should get to vote on a bow and arrow simultaneously. But bow you have two problems, 1 your price puts you into a range where there is an amazing one already on the books and 2 you're situationally OP, arrow you are a trick-pony (that frankly I don't need the help with). So, bow it is at least it's a new trick.

This ability is interesting and well thought in its crunch. I do not care much for the rest of the item, but that is enough to upvote you.
With zero regrets as you are giving me the opportunity to at last downvote that item over there which is very much of the players vs GM's mindset IMO but well-crafted enough that I had to upvote it several times before :-/

That is enough. How come everyone else is singing the praises of the post-3rd cull items while I upvote items that should have sunk one or two culls ago ?Problem: Still stuck voting for the terribad items from day 1.
Solution: Stop voting.
Though my eyes are bleeding and my brain melting, I will do my duty.
The next Cull must come.
