Do weapons enchanted with Bane, Evil Outsiders work on Evil Outsiders in the Abyss per the WoTR Adventure path? I know it would work as normal per the rules but my DM is insisting that it does not per the AP. Is this legit per the AP?

Well, it is his campaign. If he's chosen to run it that way, then that's local canon. I don't know that "The book says so" will help you much - especially when it's a book that you're not supposed to know the contents of. I would strongly advise against this line of argument.

No, that is not at all legit per the AP.
Evil outsiders have the subtype (evil) regardless of where they are. This is what an evil outsider bane needs, so it will work.
It's a very, very good enchant for WotR.
That said, if your GM is giving you a hard time about that then just get a Demon Bane enchant. It's not quite as good, but if he tries to claim that demons cease to be demons in the Abyss then I'd suggest that you find a new GM.
I was just curious as to whether this is actually in the AP WITHOUT looking in the module or waiting until the end of the campaign to find out (and be driven crazy in the interim! lol). Thank you!
