Advice for an interesting position regarding drow (spoilers obvious)

Rise of the Runelords

So my group is going through the Glassworks right now, and they opened the door to find Ameiko before finding Tsuto (whom I've got in an alert mode since one of the prior goblins managed to get away). Our drow oracle gave aide to Ameiko and as she was close, went ahead with a disguise check. And Ameiko's perception beat by over 5. So with Ameiko questioning what was wrong with the drow's eyes (they're red that turn orange towards the pupils), he response was allergies and rolled the bluff check. Ameiko's sense motive didn't succeed, but was in range to beat should the unlikely scenario apply. Now the group already knows that she's a drow (she wears a closed helmet to conceal herself by the way) with the exception of our newest member who's an elf. And they haven't made a giant connection with Ameiko just yet, and considering what she's just learned, realizing there's a drow in town at the same time all is going, well conclusions can be jumped pretty quickly lol.

So here's my predicament. I'm prepared to go both routes, but should I go ahead and apply the unlikely modifier which would lead to a very interesting roleplay or should I leave it as is and continue on with what's going on and just have Ameiko remain cautious of the drow? I already have plans on outing her as a drow to the town anyways (she gave me a pretty fun background in which I could do so), so in the end it doesn't matter anyways, but some advice for this current situation would be kindly appreciated.

Here is the gameplay thread should anyone want to read it themselves.

It's my understanding that no one on Golarion (except for the Winter Council) believes in the existence of Drow until the events of Second Darkness. Of course, this is your campaign, and so you can do you own spin on how things work. :)

I've kinda just let be that the stories of drow aren't exactly pretty stories full of fluffy bunnies and rainbows. Well, they may include them but not in the ways that most people would expect lol. I typically have no issue with letting my players play drow as long as we have the discussion on challenges of being a drow and that they're not making a certain well known drow. I can't stand that character... Anyways lol.

A big factor would be if you plan to run Second Darkness eventually, or not.. and, if so, is it supposed to be in the same continuity as the current game. If it is, the Bellona's point (and the spoiler below) are relevant. If not, they are less so.

Second Darkness Spoiler:

The Winter Council and their agents, the Lantern Bearers / Shin'Rakorath. Which agents, it is at least implied, are used as black ops hit squads who make people that do find out "disappear". The Winter Council is dead set on suppressing this information by any means necessary.

As evidenced by the actual plot of Second Darkness, there are Drow agents who are active on the surface.. but they are generally part of a group, not sole operatives.

Based on the question "are you going to eventually run Second Darkness" and "is it in the same world-version as this game", that should probably guide your choices here. If you want to run Second Darkness someday in the same setting, minimizing the impact would probably make the most sense.

It's doubtful that I'll run Second Darkness with this group. PbP tend to go pretty long anyways lol.

Just have her claim she's an elf from the Mwangi Expanses. Hey, dark-skinned humans, dark-skinned elves, why not?
