Announcing The Convention at Stonekeep 2015 - May 15-17 in Bloomington Indiana!

Most local-level conventions, you'll find, offer a nice variety of fun (and sometimes easy) scenarios. Not this time! Stonekeep is going to be a, well, stone-grinder of a con! With special permission from Mike Brock - we'll have Bonekeep parts 1, 2, *and* 3! We'll also be offering every scenario that has a "Hard Mode" option and a selection of other scenarios that will truly test your mettle as Pathfinders!

(Don't worry, we'll also have a few gentle offerings - I promise!)

Bonekeep <=> Stonekeep, right? Well, sort of. In addition to normal PFS convention activities, this event is going to be a little special for us here in Bloomington. There is a local facility called Stonebelt - an assisted living facility for persons with physical and developmental disabilities. Several members of our lodge are current or former employees of theirs, and we know that there are several pieces of equipment that they are in need of - a perfect invitation for us to step up and give back to our local community!

Several of our lodge's GMs have been cooking up an integrated ACG-RPG Charity scenario where the success of the ACG players will contribute directly to some of the challenges the RPG players will have to face the next day! These scenarios are non-PFS, but will be played with PFS and PACG rules, and come with *significant* prizes for the winning table (ACG and RPG both)! Look for a separate announcement about "bidding" for a seat at these tables soon!

In addition, we'll also have some rare items and services up for auction, with all proceeds from the auctions and charity tables going towards the purchase of needed equipment for Stonebelt.

As if that wasn't enough, we'll be running the Season 4 Special Scenario - Race for the Runecarved Key and will have Adventure Card Guild demos going all weekend long!

So, mark your calendars for May 15-17th - dare ye brave the dangers of Bonekeep AND Stonekeep?

Look for a Warhorn to go live on or around April 1st, 2015

Huge thanks to three local businesses who are offering their support for this effort:

For the non-PFS games do you have to use a PFS character or can you make one of the appropriate level for the scenario?

Those games will be using PFS Level 7 Pre-generated characters (with a few tweaks allowed - namely a small purchasing limit and prepared casters being allowed to edit their memorized spells)

The non-PFS game, that I know of will be the charity table, which is designed for use of any of the 7th level pre-gens.

For note - we're still looking for a few GMs and HQ personnel (ideally people who are comfortable running We Be Goblins!, Silverhex Chronicles, and/or Adventure Card Guild demos) for all three days - GM boons are your reward! Drop me a line if you're interested!

D'oh! Apparently you need to join our Facebook group to be able to see the event... so I guess I'm going to need to try and find a way to fix that so it's public...

Thanks for letting me know, Chad, and looking forward to seeing you!

Hey, Mike - WHERE in Bloomington is this con? I didn't see that anywhere (I may try to get done to run the CORE table of the Saturday night special for you - that MIGHT be the only free time I have!)

Mike can correct me if my memory is faulty, but I believe Friday and Saturday will be in the IMU (on the IU campus) for the RPG play with Saturday ACG games at the Common Room. Sunday's RPG games will also be at the Common Room.

Oh, I may come out there Sunday to play a game!

Barton is correct - PFS RPG will be at the Indiana Memorial Union (Tree Suites) Friday night and all day Saturday, and then at Common Room Games on Sunday. PACG will be at Common Room Games on Saturday during the day (there might be some PACG demos on Sunday also at Common Room too, but that is tbd depending on how numbers look in the next few weeks).

Richard, Mark - we'd love to have you! :)

Pathfinder agents! I come to you seeking your urgent help! My evil Venture Lieutenants are conspiring to win one of the charity auction items for our upcoming convention and use its power to do evil!

Charity Auction Lot 7 - "Pimp your VC" - Venture Captain Mike Bramnik will make a Level 7 PFS "GM Credit Baby" character at your direction. Need a bodyguard for your characters? An indentured servant? A slave? A personal cleric/confessor? He'll do it, and promise to play the character with you at least once a month in local games!" (Current bid: $10.00)

It is their intention to force me to make this character with 7 different classes! Think of the horror!

Help me, Bloomington Pathfinders, you're my only hope!

Hint:
Probably no one, just sayin' ;-)
