New Venture Captain for the Milwaukee area here (day... 18?). Welcome, and well met.

I'm now coordinating conventions in the local Milwaukee area following the departure of the previous VC (Mike Clarke), and note that 7 of the 15 currently published Adventure Paths allow for PFS credit.

For the Rise of the Runelords, Carrion Crown, Jade Regent, Skull & Shackles, Shattered Star, Reign of Winter, or Mummy's Mask Adventure Paths available to play for PFS credit, which scenarios would be able to be played, start to finish, in a 6-8 hour timeframe?

Looking for honest critiquing of the first or second section of the sanctioned content; for example, from Jade Regent: The Brinewall Legacy: Brinewall of Legacy (lvls 2-4), or Night of the Frozen Shadows: Ravenscraeg (5-7).

Basically: What have you played/GM'd, and would recommend for a convention setting?

I've run (Jade Regent 1) The Brinewall Legacy in a double (9-hour) convention slot. It's a grind, but was ultimately doable. (Rise of the Runelords 3) Hook Mountain Massacre has also been ran at a local con (in the same double-slot).

For what it's worth, our local leadership decided that we wouldn't do anything more than single (4.5/5 hour) slots for upcoming conventions.

That should be doable, but will take a lof of fun out of it. There's three levels to explore. The players will have to step on it, which will let roleplay suffer. It wont be the same if they dont try to outwit the [redacted] in the cellar.

My experience with Snows of Summer is that the sanctioned bits typically take 8-10 hours.

However, while it is level 1 repeatable, it is quite brutal on actual level 1 characters.
