I would be in support of (or at least not opposed to) a requirement to use physical dice.
We do not want an official ruling on this. At most, we want a clarification that GM's are within their rights to ask people to use physical dice, if they are able to do so. Personally, I don't think we even need that - just talk nicely to your players and negotiate, that usually works.

That's willfully misreading Jiggy's post, fakebrock, and you know it. You saw his clarification that shouldn't have been necessary. Quibbling over gotchas doesn't add anything to the conversation.

Quoting myself:
I don't think we really want a definite rule here.
Alternatively how often do you check your players dice? Do the 20 have all the numbers from 1 to 20 ? Do they have hidden counterweights? Can you actually read the black on black numbers without the light shining exactly right?
Exactly the same issue.
And for those with many D6 to roll, I actually bought 20+ rather tiny D6 for the times when my magus crits ^^
EDIT: I assume that RAW doesn't actually recognize electronic dice rollers as dice.
But yeah, I stand by my latest statement: If a GM tries to prevent a person with a relevant disability from using these dice rollers... run.

Uh, do we really need an official ruling for things like this?
Soon someone starts to question the eligibility of self 3D-printed dice. And no! Don't ask for a ruling!
No, I think that particular question needs a differenct wording:
"Once of my players has a 3D printer, and claims that all of his dice can be combinined to form a fully functional gun... and even if that is a hoax, he has a printer and can just print one... I am about to roll a confirmation roll for that longspear crit, and his character is at 2 HP.
What should I do ?????"
Also it is nice to see, that we as a community have learned to not force decisions ^^
Edit: Disclaimer: I lost a character by longspear crit, and do not own a 3D printer, the worst things GMs have to fear is pelting by tiny metal dice and pretty huge plastic dice ^^
