A kobold and his free Eidolon

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

So in a current home game me and my friends are playing I am a Kobold paracosmist summoner. I have a bipedal Eidolon who is basically intelligent-ish like not genius but smart her design is basically that of person. The long story short of this is as part of his back story he basically gave her enough free will where she doesn't have to obey him, they are still bound together and don't attack or harm each other but she has essentially free will.

Is this a good idea or bad, personally it does cause funny interactions between them where she will want to kill someone and while he will be trying diplomacy.

Not really a big deal but its something I thought intersesting

Sounds a little bit Kender (those thieving innocent halfings): trying to cause mischief and having s excuse.

But if the rest of the party is cool with it, sure.

The rest of the party is actually unaware of her freedom. And most of the other PC's love the kobold as a character. And are scare of her (probably due to the be able to bench a little over half a ton unaided by magic) basically this all amounts to he can make grandiose speeches and perform usual heroic deeds all the while people who try to attack are frighten off. It actually gets pretty funny especially since he fancies himself the "Draah'zhin the great and mighty" or The "sexiest kobold ever"

It sounds like games I've played in when we only had two or three players, so each player had to play 2 PCs. I usually had mine have different ethical alignments, but similar moral alignments, so they would have some conflict, but still able to work together. For example, in my first 3.0 game, I played a LG Human Cleric/Paladin and a CG Halfling Ranger/Rogue. In PF game, I played a Diplomacy-based CG chaos gnome dragon shaman wannabe PI and a terse N shadow-creature template whisper gnome ninja (3.5 conversion, not official PF version).

Well we have enough for five PCs in the party, unfortunately for the Gm we all share a big fat C in our alignment and only two of us have a G with it. Another PC being a Goblin who is obsessed with fruit we all decided gm include she is chaotic fruit.
