At the end of the module you get to make one request of Baba Yaga for your aid would it be reasonable to ask her to teach you how to hide your death like her so you can only be permanently killed if someone finds and releases it first?
Since no one has an opinion I guess it would be.

It is a good idea. Just remember, Baba Yaga twists everything for fun and profit (to her). Having the PC sacrifice a first born child. Or hiding their 'death' in a winter collector, so the 'PC' is bound to protect it are a few ideas.
Ye olde be careful what you wish dot style. Honestly though I got the feeling from the end of the Ap she's genuinely offering a no strings attached one time offer.
Also they want to know how to hide their own death not have her do it for them so hiding it in a winter collector wouldn't work anyway.

If I wasn't planning on continuing the campaign, I'd definitely allow it. It's a good request and a neat hook if that PC ever shows up as an NPC later.
If play will continue, just make it clear that not-dying and not-losing are very different things. It's not as though high-level players don't have ways to cheat death already.
Cheers!

Oh true, true and you can always go the limbless immortal route if a cleric with regeneration isn't around or the perpetually annoying you must keep person X alive and healthy to win. I remember one game where we had everything set up to guard them at all times for the duration and the Gm was apparently struggling to figure out how to get past us to kill him and progress the plot. Then a scripted death happened and everyone just ran off to investigate the incident spending about half an hour ingame before we realised "wait. . . who's guarding the guy who hired us" of course by the time we rushed back he was dead. Not s problem in that game as his death was meant to happen to progress the plot but if we'd been meant to keep him Alice it would have been a different matter.
Not to mention high level enemies can always go on their own quests to find out how to release your death in order to kill you.
