So I am going to run a game. In the game the two heroes will work to stop the Big Bad. A being called the Old Worm. While they go on their adventures a new Big Bad will slowly coalesce in one of the heroes. This will be the result of the hero "Counting Coup", or taking in part of their essence, on the critters they vanquish. He does this to gain strength and ensure his survival.
Now eventually the hero will wind up in the spirit world after sacrificing himself to defeat the Old Worm. There the new Big Bad will tear itself from the hero, becoming an independent entity who will take the position as the settings Big Bad.
I told you all that so I could ask which is a better name: The Abomination or The Other? If you guys have a better name in mind just suggest it.
