Broken Token Query

For those who would order from Amazon for the Broken Token PACG insert, you may still get the old style. Below is the email I got from BT themselves back on June 15:

We had to make sure we had a large shipment going out before we could send them and it takes up to 7-9 business days for them to get to the warehouse and get checked in.

Well, I've got my set all settled and the Extra Bits (large) are all ready to move to their new home.

Final Verdict: I highly recommend a replacement insert if you either sleeve your set or take your set places. The Broken Token one is the one I have and it works well with sleeved cards. If you play unsleeved in your own home then you can get away with the original box insert.

Is anyone having trouble with their Broken Token insert getting all the dividers to stay? Right now, I have one column where the dividers won't stay in because it's too wide and one column where I can barely get the dividers in.

I don't have the too-narrow issue. I did have the too-wide issue. I put some index cards between the outside of the insert and the box. This fixed the issue.

Make sure you have the "end caps" turned right side up. It is possible to rotate one upside down and then the columns aren't perpendicular to ends. I did that once.

I still have the problem with the far wide row of mine not wanting to hold it's divider. I've made it better by sticking an extra divider or 2 between the edge of the insert and the box, but it's not perfect.

I think I'd trade being able to use the same slot in two adjacent columns for wider tabs on the dividers. That may not completely eliminate the problem, but would reduce it quite a bit. Thankfully, mine's been fine with some padding so far.

Okay, index cards stuffed in as padding seems to be working for now - I'll see what happens the next time I take it out of the house and it gets jostled a bunch.
