I know that we still have 6 weeks until this comes into play, but since the Guild has been updated a couple of times and the Scenario files just got an update, both without any change for this issue, I thought I'd bring it up again.
In this thread, confusion was brought up about when exactly cards with the Basic and Elite traits should be removed from the game box and which specific card set identifiers should be removed. Tanis clerified:
My intention with the alternate box-purge rules was to get rid of cards at least two lower than the current adventure. So when you add AD 4, remove the appropriate B, C, and 1 cards, and leave 2 and 3 in there. The next version of the Guide will clarify this.
However, most people would read that "at least two lower" than 4 would include set identifier 2, as it is two less than 4. Again, the Guild and the Adventure Path card for organized play have not yet been updated to clarify what is actually intended.
Also, an issue that was brought up but didn't get an official word is if the Basic purge should include Blessings of the Gods. Should an exception be made for Blessings of the Gods or will we need to get rid of them with the rest of the Basic cards?

Let's address the last one first ... no, Blessings of the Gods should not be removed. You couldn't have lycanthropes working properly! (BotG were the exception.)
I think Tanis was off on her clarification. Her example is correct, however. When you finish an adventure deck, you should remove at least two lower than the current adventure. So after finishing AD 3, you should remove the appropriate (!) B, C and 1 cards, and leave 2 and 3 in there.

Ah, thank you good Knight. Damn subject field not having spell check. *fixed*
I know we can assume that Blessings of the Gods are an exception, but we can't be sure without an official statement. As the rules are written write now, we are not being told to make an exception for them so we'll need to remove them unless we hear otherwise. It might be kind of silly, but that is how it currently stands. And yes, I understand what Tanis means, but that is not clear on the Adventure Path card:
"After you finish Treacherous Waters, at the beginning of each new adventure, when you add a new Adventure Deck to your game box, remove all cards with the Basic or Elite trait that have adventure deck numbers at least two lower than the adventure deck you just added. (Treat the set indicators B, C, and P as 0.)"
The Adventure Deck number that you are basing the removal off of is the deck you just added, not the current deck before you add the new deck. By these instructions, when Deck 4 is added, 2 would be one of the set indicators included.

I know that we still have 6 weeks until this comes into play, but since the Guild has been updated a couple of times and the Scenario files just got an update...
Not to hijack the thread but were there changes to the scenario's and if so which ones. I run the PACG at my local store but they are the ones who get the scenario files so I had no idea this had happened. I wonder if there is a way to announce this for event coordinators so they can harass their store owners into checking for the updated files.

There weren't any real changes to the scenarios. There were only three changes that I noticed. First, all of the scenarios now share the set indicator number of the adventure they come from so all Adventure 1 scenarios now say "Scenario 1" at the top instead of 1-6. Second, the adventure cards for Adventure 1 used to say "Complete These Scenarios in this Order:" The in this Order part has now been dropped. Lastly, some Illustration credits were added to the Adventure 1 files.
So really, probably nothing that will actually change how you have been running organized play unless you were making players complete the scenarios in order.

This was the message about the update to the PDF:
We have updated the Pathfinder Adventure Card Guild scenarios to correct the adventure deck number on all of the scenarios. No other content has been updated.
So before, the scenarios all had the SCENARIO number next to the word scenario in the upper right corner. For instance Brine Dragon Hunt said Scenario 3. They have corrected it so that, like the cards, the number is the adventure deck number. So Brine Dragon Hunt now says Scenario 1.

We don't want to update the guide too often, or people will get annoyed. Right now, there are only a couple pending changes to the Guide, but we fully expect that a few more may be on the way, so we're waiting until we've got an update worth redownloading. (And, as you pointed out, the deck removal rules don't come into play for a while yet.)
