Masters of the Fallen Fortress..?

I'm looking at the chronicle sheet and it looks like it's assuming that players don't have their own characters.

Does this have to be played with a pregen, or is it ok for any level 1 character?

Doesn't have to be a pregen, can be played by any level 1 character.

Master of the Fallen Fortress was written as a Free RPG Day Module. Note that modules are not written assuming that the PCs are PFS.
