The Plan 9 from Outer Space of published adventures

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

I'm looking for the absolute craziest, so-bad-it's-good, what-the-hell-is-happening adventure that has ever been published (dead tree or electronic), for any edition of D&D, Pathfinder, or a clone or knockoff of any edition of D&D or Pathfinder.

I'm talking about "Why you eyein' my lemon drink" levels of unintentional hilarity, or "THINGS (1989)" levels of "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?"

Does such a wondrous thing exist?

My first vote is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_Greyhawk_(module)

My second is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeonland

My third is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle_Amber_(module)

And finally, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expedition_to_the_Barrier_Peaks

Have fun!

I would go for http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Temple_of_Elemental_Evil

Even the author admitted it was silly.

Dungeonland (1e AD&D)is best if you play it straight in the beginning - let the players slowly realize what the heck is going on. Heck the adventure even recommends that you not let the players know you're running it.

Adventures in Blackmoor (BECMI) is a rather silly intro to that module series - it's about a ruined inn that can't be escaped. Also time travel, eventually.

Castle Greyhawk (1e AD&D) is a deliberately silly adventure. It's a compilation 12 level megadungeon where each level has its own theme. I'm partial to level 10, Fluffy Goes Down the Drain, where your 19th level party has to rescue a little girl's lost dog from Juiblex, demon prince of slimes.

I'm not as familiar with them, but you may want to look at adventures for Hackmaster - the game itself is a very playable parody of 1e/2e so I figure the adventures follow suit.
