Are there any "Charm" type spells in any WotC D&D books which allow the caster to charm many people at once?
If so, how could a caster extend the duration of the charm for 7 to 10 days or so?
Thanks!
Mass Charm is right there in the Player's Handbook. It lasts for 1 day/level so you should be okay if the caster level is right. It only affects 1 HD per level though so you can't get very many people--especially if they're higher level guys.
Mass Suggestion doesn't last nearly as long, only an hour per level, but you can get much more people, one target per level.
Enthrall is a good bargain basement alternative. You can affect any number of people, and whilst you speak they are friendly toward you and discuss your topic for several minutes afterward. Now presumably if your speech was generally persuasive in the first place there's a chance the audience might actually agree and go along with you once the magical effect ends--giving you a sort of charm effect.
There may be some other options out there, but these are the ones that come to mind.

I see "Mass Charm Moster", but I need to find something like "Mass Charm Person", and it is not in the PHB (at least not the 3.5 one I own).
(Thanks for your ideas, though!)
Anyone else know about spells from other WotC sourcebooks?
Maybe magic items which would enable a "charm person" effect on a large number of people for a long period of time?

Charm Person, Mass can be found in Races of Destiny -- 4th level Bard, 5th level Wizard. Hope that this helps.

THAT'S what I needed! Thanks!
