Arcane Bloodrage

Rules Questions

Reading the ACG i came up with some doubts about the "arcane bloodrage" and "greater arcane bloodrage" arcane bloodline features.
Mainly i have 2 questions:

1- If i have arcane bloodrage and greater arcane bloodrage, since in the later it specifies that this is in addition to arcane bloodrage, can i take blur from arcane bloodrage and haste from greater arcane bloodrage and have the 2 spells affect me while i bloodrage? or is it just it amplifies the options of spells you are available to choose?

2- If i have the primalist archetype and i take the 2 rage powers on lvl 4 (arcane bloodrage) what happens at lvl 8 when i get greater arcane bloodrage? i can't get it because i don't have the non-greater version? i have it but just with haste/displacement?

1 - Yep, you get the effects of both spells when you use the ability. it's pretty sweet.

2 - It's been clarified before that if you give up the lesser version of an ability and later gain the greater version, you instead gain the lesser version that you gave up before. So you would gain the normal Arcane Bloodrage ability at level 8, and never gain Greater Arcane Bloodrage.

If you never get Greater Arcane Bloodrage, i guess you don't have the lvl 16 bloodline power? or you just get Greater Arcane Bloodline then and never have the True one?

I don't think you can apply that rule in this situation.

You lose the bloodline power for the level you chose Primalist. That's it. And the next level when you get a bloodlne power you get that power. Nothing more, nothing less.

The general rule (lesser and greater class features) is superseded in this case, mostly because the various bloodline powers (arcane bloodrager, greater and true) do not depend on the other being present and can indeed function seperately from one another (unlike Improved Evasion, which has an effect that dependant on evasion).

It would be unfair to arcane if they would have to give-up higher level bloodline powers than other bloodlines.
