So thematically I have a Shaman with a spirit animal skunk and she is thinking about getting a combat trained giant skunk as a mount. If my DM allows I would really like to Awaken it once I can get leadership. What lvl would I have to be?
Giant Skunk is CR 3 to start? I am thinking about advancing it barbarian.
So hd 5 +2 hd from the spell so I would have a cohort with an effective level of 7?
but since it is about as strong as a war horse but the cr would be about 4. would it be reasonable to take the cohort at 7th and lvl it as needed?
