Point Blank Master and "In Melee"

If I have Point Blank Master and am shooting the only enemy adjacent to me, would I still take the -4 penalty for shooting into melee if I didn't have Precise Shot?

I think I would but I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss some sort of special case spelled out from somewhere.

If he is fighting one of your team mates then yes, but if it is just you and the enemy then no.

You can shoot enemies adjacent to you without Point-blank Master; it's just not usually advisable.

This is one of those instances where I'd say you don't count as your own ally - so like wriathstrike says, you're good if it's just the 2 of you.
