Does the number of lower level summoned monsters you can Summon increase with level of the Summon Monster spell?

like how many Lantern archons can i Summon with a Summon Monster IX spell?

Written in the spell description you'll see that you can either summon (1) creature from the appropriate summon monster list, or (1d3) creatures from the list one level lower, or (1d4+1) creatures from any list at least two levels lower.

So, using summon monster IX to summon anything from the 7th level list or lower will result in (1d4+1) creatures appearing.
