I visited a store the other day outside my usual area and had an interesting conversation with a new player there. He believed he saw a loophole around replaying scenarios that involved having two different society ID numbers tied to two different emails. After he'd already played "scenario X" with one character and ID number, he thought it would be acceptable to replay it again with a different character using a different ID number.
Most of the people there are new to Society, so being the most experienced I spoke up and told him that was clearly not allowed. I used the analogy of introducing GM stars and being able to use them for replays, and pointed out that replays were not allowed as per the Guide (which I didn't have on me at the time). I also told him that went against the spirit of the game, and that PFS operates largely on the honor system.
He maintained that since this loophole wasn't called out anywhere, he felt it was justifiable, and didn't feel that it was cheating in any way.
How else can I explain it to him that this is not allowed?

Is core rule book to the head an allowable reply to this level of sophistry?
The CRB, unlike the other hardbacks, is a size Large bludgeoning weapon, and deals increased damage as appropriate. If you are going for non-lethal, then I would say you could use it for that level of sophistry, but normal damage would be an Evil action. Just my two cents.

It is one replay per plauer, not per account or per PFS number.
It is very clearly spelled out in the guide:
You cannot receive more than 1 player Chronicle and 1
GM Chronicle for the same scenario, regardless of how
many times you GM or play the scenario.
not your PFS number, not your Paizo account, *YOU* the PLAYER.

I believe poster "Vixeryz" from that thread sounds most like this player.

I'm not hearing "illegal"...
So, unless you can tell me where it explicitly states that a person may not have more than one Paizo account- I will assume (as much as the team may not like it) that I can't get banned for it. So I can make new characters under a different PFS ID number and make up for all those wasted scenarios due to TPK.
Its not cheating if there is no rule specifically disallowing it.
(After all, alot of GMs "frown upon" Gunslingers but they cant refuse to let them play simply due to their class choice)
Chris Lambertz's reply is the answer I've been looking for.

We have the alias function to facilitate the needs a person would use a second account for.
Thanks for the thread link!

On a related note, I got one of those little cards at my first PaizoCon. I lost the card and never got it registered. Now I have found the card (hanging out with my con stuff :) and because it is 1,500 counts lower than my current one, it is much cooler. Is it possible to get my credits applied to the cool number even if it means giving up my current number?
Can I give the cool card to the next newbie at my table (with the warning that they will already have one credit GMed by Yoda-Ate-my-Head)?
