Tengu attack bonuses with beak, claw, claw.... Does multiattack help?

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

I am playing a tengu rogue with the claw racial adjustment. It is listed as gaining 2 primary attacks with claws.

I have a +2 strength bonus. First level,rogue.

If I do a beak attack, or a single claw the bonus is +2, right?

If I do a full attack, I get a beak ,claw, claw. All at +2? +2/0/0? -5?

I took multiattack as a feat, but does that help?

One dm said since all attacks are primary, they' d all be +2. The other disagrees. Herolab doesn't penalize the bonus but also isn't taking into account a full attack.

Thanks for your help.

They would all be +2, multiattack only helps with secondary attacks. You can have any number of primary natural attacks, a natural weapons primary/secondaryness is set by the weapon type only, independent of anything else. Do note though, that if you were combining natural attacks with manufactured weapons, multiattack would be useful(primary attacks are treated as seconday when combined with manufactured weapons).

Thanks Calph, that frees up a feat ( I can now drop multiattack and take? Weapon finesse?). Your fast response is appreciated, you are a boon to the Paizo community!

The only benefit Multiattack would give you is that it would reduce the penalty of adding in natural attacks when wielding a weapon at the same time.

Just to quote the relevant part:

Quote:
Creatures with natural attacks and attacks made with weapons can use both as part of a full attack action (although often a creature must forgo one natural attack for each weapon clutched in that limb, be it a claw, tentacle, or slam). Such creatures attack with their weapons normally but treat all of their natural attacks as secondary attacks during that attack, regardless of the attack's original type.

His backstory had him kicked off a ship for accruing too much bad luck . He was left with no weapons and it is difficult for a tengu to make friends with his appearance, lack of funds, poor social skills and him believing himself cursed. So right now, it's just claws and a beak and some torn pirate pants. Strangely enough, the beasts he's fought don't drop swords or armor like in a video game. :)
