Inner Sea World Guide or ACG?

Advice

Liberty's Edge

So, next monthe, The Advanced Class Guide comes out, and I, like many, am PUMPED!
The only problem is, I know that the Inner Sea World guide is ridiculously useful, and the DM I usually play with (Destiny F, if you know her!) recommended it. As a huge lover of the Varisians, and of humans, as well as a regular in PFS games, it would be a smart purchase, I think.
But, what do you people think? should I just wait a bit and get the ACG, or should I pick up the ISWG in a little bit.
I've never read either (and of course 90% haven't read ACG), but is the ISWG really that amazing? Thanks for the advice. Thanks guys!

As a general rule if you're going to actually purchase something (from a financial perspective where you can only afford one or the other, I mean), purchase the setting books (or APs), since you can't read most of that anywhere else. All of the mechanical goodies, Feats, classes, spells, etc. will be on the PRD and SRD pretty soon after release, and the ACG will be no exception.

@Rynjin--the OP plays in PFS, so the PRD won't be sufficient

@Brom--All books in the core rules line as well as the Inner Sea World Guide have an amazingly discounted pdf price. You can easily buy both pdfs for less than the cost of one of the two in print, if cost is an issue!

I thought of that. It's a good idea. Thanks. TO THE PAIZO STORE!!!

It's hard to give you advice as the ACG isn't out yet and we have no real idea what's in it.

I do have the Inner Sea World Guide and suggest you do pick it up sometime in the future. What makes the ISWG so good is it's like a summary of all the books before it on info of the Golarion world. Plus it has a very good summary of the different types of deities (and devils, demons, elemental lords, even outsiders) that those of the religious type can worship with their domains and favored weapons. Plus a nice selection of feats and a small selection of items and monsters.
I believe the items and monsters you can mostly find in UE and later Bestiaries.

The ACG, while there's a lot of hints (and fluff) floating around, we have no real idea what's inside it mechanically.

Speak for yourself--mwahahahahaha!

Er...ahem, sorry.

On the other hand, I just gave him the advice to buy both as pdf, so my idea of what's in it didn't really affect that much.

I'd imagine the Playtest documents give a pretty good idea.

There's been some significant changes in the classes we saw in the playtest documents and from playing those classes on the free game day in Risen from the Sands.

The ISWG is the best Paizo product I've purchased. Strike that. It's the best setting book I've ever purchased; dating back to the Greyhawk days...

I read parts of it almost nightly. I read it for the sake of reading something.

I picked up the INSWG for PDF and am very happy with it, actually. Lots of cool stuff in here. Thanks for the advice guys!
