The critter escaped through a hole dug under the back fence. It's one that I've filled in before. As a temporary measure, I've blocked the whole with an empty flower pot. A fairly large on that your typical critter won't be able to move.
I've got plans to block it off a little more permanently. Probably with a rather large rock. Perhaps with something a little more metallic.

Not much planned for today. I've already played a bit of BG3. In a bit I'll do a bit of mapping while I work on a third cup of coffee. Later, I promised my daughter I'd hang up some wire thingamabob my wife bought for her. It's for hanging up art.
At some point I might work on bagging and boarding some old comics. I bought some mylar bags, so I can start re-bagging stuff I bagged about 10 years ago. After that, I shouldn't have to re-bag them again.

Even better, last week there were two days in a row where a bus stopped to pick up some kids for school, right on the main road I take to the interstate. So I got stuck waiting for those lazy little turds to get on and sit down.
This morning, I must have gotten ahead of that bus. Thank the road gods.

While I was on my way home in the evening, the wife texted me to say the boy had tripped and fallen while going to get on the bus at dismissal. They had to bring him to the nurse's office for a bit of medical attention, and she had to go pick him up.
Luckily, I was only a few minutes from home, so she was able to leave our daughter by herself for a few minutes.
And the boy was banged up, but nothing broken except perhaps his pride. And his glasses. Again we got lucky though. He had a spare pair that will carry him over until he gets his new pair in a week or two.

            Wouldn't you know it.
I like to keep some chocolate protein shakes in the fridge here at work, just in case I don't have anything for lunch. I drank the last one last week, and finally remembered this morning to bring a few more.
Then I see the email from HR saying they're cleaning out the fridges this weekend.

My co-worker is starting to play BG3. Or he's attempting to, at least. After two days he still hadn't gotten past the character creation screen.
He's not all too familiar with D&D, and even though he played BG1 & 2, the 5th edition rules are a mystery to him. I told him he could have just called me to ask advice.

Along with her regular Saturday art class, my daughter has been taking a pottery and sculpting class every Tuesday evening. So we've got a bunch of pottery items she's made now sitting around the house.
Today is her teacher's birthday. She wants to give the teacher one of the candle holders she made as a gift. I encouraged this, especially since it means one less pottery item in my house.

Anyway, for this project, there's a 20" pipeline running under a channel and bay. The pipe is degraded. So we're tapping into the line on either side of the water and running a 16" pipe through the 20" pipe so the line can start operating again.
I don't think anything like this has been done before. Should be interesting.

Normally, I get back from the grocery and leave again preset quickly to hit the comic book store. Afterwards I typically pick my daughter up from art class, then come home for lunch.
Today, things went a bit differently. The wife told me the daughter wanted to visit Barnes and Noble. Since she wanted books, I wasn’t about to say no. So we waited until after my daughter’s class to hit Five Guys for lunch, then the comic book store, and lastly Barnes and Noble.
Between those three places, I ended up spending close to $400. Lunch was around $60. The comic book store was just over $200. Barnes and Noble was around $110.
