Adam West was a bad ass mofo!
Nanna nanna nanna nanna BATMAN!!!
Damn that Catwoman!! But, man, she was sexy!!
Mayhaps I'll watch Pacific Rim again tonight.
And, on an even more positive note, my Bluray copies of House of Dark Shadows and Night of Dark Shadows have been shipped and are on the way!
And now for a musical interlude. No Batman comic ever had one of those.
Chicks with nice bodies and wearing tights! Gotta love it!
Now I've got the boy watching! This is how it begins.

Young Bruce Wayne? Not so much. Oswald? Maybe. Nygma? Way overplayed. Fish Moony? Pathetic attempt to be nice and PC. batman's rogues gallery has been notoriously monochromatic and male. DC more so than marvel has had a historical problem with this, and batman is one of their oldest characters. I would imagine this is partly due to the time period when the characters were developed, along wih most of the writers being white and male. I've got no real problem with that.
My dislike of the Fish Moony character comes from poor writing. They make her essentially a lieutenant of sorts in the Italian Mafia, something that just doesn't make sense. It would have been better to show her as some kind of outside rival. That, to me, would have made the character more scrappy and realistic. Pah.
Aberzombie wrote: Mayhaps I'll watch Pacific Rim again tonight. On this, at least, we agree.
Didn't watch Pacific Rim. Watched Manhunter instead - the old one with Brian Cox as Hannibal. Awesome, but Hopkins was better.
Maybe tonight I'll watch Pacific Rim.
Or some episodes of Firefly.
My boy saw a commercial for My Little Pony toys. He said "Dad, I don't like that. It's girl stuff."
I was so proud.
The boy has really taken a liking to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I've even got him responding with "Turtle Power!" every time I utter the phrase "Heroes on a half shell.".
And, of course, he's got a TMNT costume for Halloween.
So I may have to rethink what I'm going to get him for Christmas. Some TMNT action figures may be a better choice.
Before I forget - the new iOS 8 software update sucks balls.
Picked up some Dogfish Head Burton Baton the other day. Good stuff. Also found some of their Punkin Ale! And some Hobgoblin. And some Sam Smith's IPA. And some Sam Smith's Oatmeal Stout (made a clone of this once), and Nut Brown Ale.

I may have failed to mention it before, but the wife found a job. She's not quite sure when she'll start - sometime in the next two weeks, maybe. She seems happy about it.

Of course, this'll mean a bit of an adjustment to my schedule, but I'm all good with that. The money she'll be bringing in will be a big boost - enough to pay for daycare, with plenty left over for savings, etc.
So she started the kids in their new, full-time daycare this morning. The boy was not happy. Katie was apparently in WTF mode. They'll get used to it.
I think Katie will adjust quickly, because she's generally a happy baby. The boy may take a bit longer, but I still think he'll come around and start liking the place more once he makes friends.
Have I mentioned that I hate disruptions to my routine?
But, f!~$ it, you adjust and deal. It's part of being an adult.
Speaking of being an adult - read an interesting article related to that the other day.

I am enjoying the new series. Indeed. I try to watch some of the episodes with him. They are enjoyable. Some of the animation reminds me of the original comics.

Yeah, iPhone software update still sucks balls. This is making me really regret continuing with an iPhone back when I got it a few months ago.
And now they want to push another software update. Most of which, from the description, seems aimed at fixing problems for the iPhone 6, which I do not have.
Now that Jobs is dead, I give the company maybe 10 years before people are saying "Apple who?".
And I might be generous in that assessment.
I can say with some confidence (maybe 85%), this is probably the last iphone I'll ever own.
Kids did great at their new daycare yesterday. The boy even took a nap.
Of course, we paid for that later yesterday, when he gave us trouble going to bed.
Watched the second episode of Gotham. It was interesting, but they'll need to impress me more to really keep me as a viewer. I like the Penguin character so far, but the Nygma character just doesn't work.
And I actually liked the way they characterized Selina Kyle. Very street smart and spunky, just the way she should be. But I still don't like this whole "she witnessed the Waynes getting shot" crap.
Nor did I like the implications by Falcone that the Waynes may have been less than reputable.
But I did find intriguing the implication that Barbara and Montoya were once intimate and that's why Montoya is targeting Gordon so hard.
An interesting twist.
But we'll see how it goes.
For tonight, though, it's NCIS and Agents of SHIELD! Woot!!
And, of course, when I actually try to do the latest iphone software update, it keeps freezing up. Thanks Apple. F#&!ing douchbags.
