Last night the wife and I had dinner while the kids were at their daycare for Parent's Night Out.

Today, I spent time with some FAWTLY folk, helping the Moore's move into their rental house. Jess was there, and Wolfthulhu, and HoustonDerek! Fun times.

Also: there is great potential for a "F!@% You, Monday" kind of day. Not sure yet. It's been mixed so far.

The boy was a pain in the ass this morning, and I was still hacking up a lung on waking.

However, the wife was able to take the kidlets to daycare, which let me leave early. But, there was a major traffic accident that had shit screwed up all over. Fortunately, I took a new way, and it wasn't too bad.

That means, of course, that I got here a bit early.

Because, of course, I'm back in the meeting I was stuck in most of last week. So there's that. Boring and a waste of time. But good coffee. But bad food.

Getting away from the worst aspects of winter was just a bonus. The real reasons for moving were closer to family, better job opportunities, better cost of living, and all around better state.
