Unarmed attack with bow

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

Hi,

As a Zen Archer, do I need to drop bow to make an unarmed attack? I read somewhere that I can punch or hit with elbow while having bow in my hands, but I do not see anything like this in rules

No, you do not need to drop the bow. You can be holding your bow cocked & loaded and be kicking, head-butting, elbowing, or otherwise hitting your foe with ANY part of your body (other than your hands).

The best part is you also threaten with your hands full so you can still make AoO's unarmed before 9th level when you get Reflexive shot.

Just remember you cannot flurry with your unarmed strikes or use your WIS mod on the attack roll.

Thank you kindly for your answer!

remember it's called unarmed strike and not punch for a reason.

You can even intermix kicks and arrows in a full attack.
