Reporting Session & chronicles for home game AP - Do I use character names?

GM Discussion

I'm running RotRL as a home game and my players have just started Thistletop. I wanted to report the session and get chronicle sheets ready but I'm not sure if I should include character details. Essentially running a home game AP for PFS credit is a lot like using pregens in a regular game.

So do I include character information in the chronicle sheets and the session report? Or is there some way to indicate that the session is for credit and the characters themselves are not PFS legal?

Thanks,

If you're running the game in campaign mode fill out the sheet with just the PFS number for the player who played in it. They can then apply it to a character of their choosing, that falls within the level range, and add the -1, -2, -3, etc. of the chosen character.

To reinforce what Joshua said, yes. You report the session as normal, using the PFS and character number of the PFS character to which they apply the Chronicle from that book of the AP. That means that you will need to get the information from them at the time you give out the Chronicle.

OK, thanks. If they haven't created characters I assume that you just use character #1?

And what do I do for factions if the players have not yet created PFS characters?

It will probably be -1, but double-check with your players, first.

You can ask about faction at the same time, but if they don't know, just use Grand Lodge.
