Fame Clarification.

As I am getting back to playing PFS and with the changes made in Season 5, am I to understand I can not buy any of the items on the chronicle sheet until after I have 5 Fame points?

Items on Chronicle Sheets are "always available", regardless of Fame.

Your fame and your chronicle sheets are two independent ways of opening up item access. That is, in order to buy an item that isn't on the Always Available list, it needs to be EITHER under your Fame cap OR on a chronicle sheet. You don't need both.

Short version: if it's on a chronicle sheet, you can buy it.

Long version: you can buy anything that falls under at least ONE of theses categories:
1. Always Available items.
2. Anything on a chronicle sheet.
3. Any campaign-legal item with a price less than or equal to the price your fame wil allow for.
