If your main and only concern in Archery is DPR, forget Fighter entirely. You want Zen Archer Monk. There literally is no competition.

Have you seen the pf iconic cavalier? He flys a banner on a spear on his back. And weilds a sword.

Same principle.

How I dislike too much logic in a magical world where you can create planes of existance.

Like the one on kids bikes!

Very true.

Do you think a ZAM would be boring? Everyone I've talked to who has played one has been kind of disappointed, other than the DPR.

That's what I was thinking when I saw it.

Basically. Its possible...the samurai use to wear those belts that you could stick a pole in and hold a banner as well. Like i understand where Gwen is like how do you find room when both hands are busy. But the thing just has to be attached to you somehow.

Well ZAM isn't allowed...his DM is the kind who bans anything eastern.

Tho I would get tired of ZAM. I have tried out several martial types over the years. I can not stand playing a Fighter or Barbarian. such a snore fest other then when it is time to swing the weapons.I almost don't see a point behind a Fighter other then a level dip. But most the time your better off dipping Ranger instead.

I'm playing a Halfling Mounted Beastmaster Ranger in PFS currently and loving every adventure. So much to do in combat and out of combat. My Giant Gecko Rider is earning mad respect at the table.

Going to be honest out of the martial classes the best experiences I've had are on Rangers, Magus, and Paladins. So many options and so much flavor.

I would also recommend a Paladin Archer if you want some DPR and some killer saves, HP pool, and some spells. Grab up Dangerously Curious and abuse scrolls and wands. But some people have strict and bad understanding with DMs when it comes to the Code of Conduct for a paladin. SO ranger is just a safe option.
